Soooo I might be a little bit biased when it comes to the woolly rhino. But, to be fair it is my favorite tame! These things are nightmares when it comes to pvp, they can ruin entire armies, destroy tames, and even do a little harvesting in pve of their own!!!!
This tutorial is part of my channel for Ark, to help give you locations, hints, helps, guides,tips, cheats, glitches, cheese, the easy way, and whatever you might want to call these sorts of videos! :)

I didn’t realize how OP they were I already tamed one but I don’t have the saddle for it yet I have a tannery I need 90 ancient amber.
The cost for the rhino saddle is 1150 cures.
The coolest thing about fluffy bois is their level up animation

Yooooo, its good to see my chubby unicorn getting some love. Rhinos get slept on way too much but even despite all that, their level up animation is completely worth it
You need to do a solo pvp series
As a on official pve player. Rhinos are OP as well as on pvp. We run bosses with rhinos when starting out on a new map. Tame some nice hp and melee breed, imprint run 7k,700stam and dump into melee. On crystal isles without transfers open yet we have Alpha beaten with our 8khp 900stam and 800melee. Got lucky and got 4500hp wild tamed and got mutation so now we’re at 5.1k hp and 355 melee, easily kills alpha crystal queen
Im breeding rhinos now and they got 3,9k hp, 600 stam and 175 damage, how far do I need to breed them to be able to do the island boss fights?
The rhino is scary good, they look so cute and harmless because they aren't aggressive but prove they are not to be messed with

i love that about him. ive always had an interest in prehistoric creatures.
Through breeding those numbers are possible you can kinda min max when breeding to get the most base damage you can before you hit level cap

Why i love the woolly rhino:
1. Can take down a mammoth one shot with enough points
2. It can turn around and slap a chasing giga, carno, dire wolves..?
3. It can tank nearly every hit it receives
4. When at full damage and stamina you can win a race
5. It doesn’t stop when attacking
6. The giga can’t keep up with the rhino and can whip around and snipe a hit
so if you got veggie cakes and a daedon following imagine the healing.
Never used one of these, but now I'm tempted! I love your vids! Been watching for years! Thank you so much for all your info. It's saved a TON of time.

Bit late necro'ing the comment section of a 2 year old video, but some actual info about how hard these can actually hit; since it is the highest single hit attack damage tame in the game on official (on unoffical mantis can beat it with insane swords).
On Official PVE both normal and x-rhinos exist with 254 points base melee (cap on official servers pretty much), which means their base melee at birth is 1619.4%; with 100% imprint this becomes 1941.6%; with all 88 available lvlups in melee this ends up being 4846.2% melee (same % as like 90%, of creatures in ark that have normal wild and tamed melee scaling end up).
The rhino base dmg is 40 (42 for x rhino), and at max charge gets an additional +800% (was +1200% before nerf), meaning a max charge attack hits for 360 damage at 100% melee; at 4846.2% melee this becomes 17446 damage (yes 17k dmg), with the 30% bonus damage from imprinting this becomes 22680 damage, and with an additional 33% from mate boost a whopping 30165 damage.
Yes, this thing can hit for 30k a hit. Obviously its not the most practical thing to use, and the DPS will be not that great because you have to keep the charge up or re-charge, but the single hit damage is absolutely nuts.
For comparison a maxed melee mantis, with 298% swords (max cap on official for weapons), with imprint bonus and mate boost will hit for 17515 damage; to reach the rhino's 30k damage it would need swords with 610% damage.
A max melee R-Giga with imprint bonus and mate boost will hit for "only" 19853 damage per bite.
They are good even against golems sometimes
I use rhino for berries can black cap on berries if you lvl it in weight and it’s fast so u can run around chomping n come back quick we’ll also being able to easily deal with any wild Dino

Hey Teach I just started playing on Genesis and I watched your video on the Master Controller. I've heard from other people in the cluster i play on that people have used Rhinos against him. I have a hard time believing that Rhinos can survive that. How well do you think it would actually work? I've never tamed or used one so I don't know anything about the Rhinos. But if you think its a good idea. I may give it a shot when I get to that point,

Maybe. But I have to compare every dino to the Managarmr and most things fall short. The build up is pretty fast for that power hit though.
I know its been 2 years, i may be using an app incorrectly, but 420% meelee is about 50 meelee points which is the top 0.23% of a 225 tame.... I am confident that 50 points is top 0.23%, the uncertainty is if 420% meelee is 50 meelee points, because the app I used (ark smart breeder) has 50 points as 419.8%
edit: something else that suggests that I am wrong about it being 50 points (or perhaps rhinos have been adjusted by wildcard) is that each dominant level (manual input) of a 419.8% meelee rhino at 0% imprint should be 7.14%+ meelee - you went up by 16.8...
you can also use weapons while ur on a whooly rhino

I once had an ascendant rifle he t stolen by a pego and a couple months later I found the pego with my rifle after I killed him (single player)
Can u look into the best combination of creatures for osd's on Extinction, using an imprinted reaper as the constant
It’s possible on official, maybe not base because of the limitation on dino level, but my manas have over 2000% melee

A rhino is a pvp dino not a race car so lvl it in stam, Melee and hp

Tgt I killed somebody with a crystal weight wyvern and they had 2 cryos 1 a giga and they through it out before I killed him and the rhino had 2.6k dmg

I had a pic back in the day of my rino doing 34k to a training dummy.
I think you should also consider on the wooly rhino even tho they nerfed it and it still can have good stats but you have very boosted stats on ur server but if you have 500 melee + and your on a 5x server or so the damage isn't as good as by ur video maybe mention of how the server stats depend on how good it is as well but anyways good vid
Official rhinos are strong af over 1.5k melee

yes rhinos are op berrie gatherers, take em to sw2 beach good melee/weight rhinos can slot cap on tintos/narcos on 1x. we used our non new mutation rhinos for berries and valguero karkino poly runs w/chainsaws since they cant gather bodies.
I kinda have a question about the x creatures. Is it just me or do they get significantly nerfed in their resistance when tamed?
Yeah the resistance just applies to wilds

On official they can reach 3k dmg, top line is around 13k hp 700/1000 stam and 1200/1300 dmg

when i get home ima get on my PS4 on ark and tame a breeding pair of rhinos and get a female mana to mate with my lvl 1k mana that has beutiful colors
on extintion then travel back to rag after cryoing them and just rebuild my base
How does health not matter in pvp? If you can't take more than one giga bite u r gonna get clapped.
Top stat Xbox small tribes rhinos pop with 1K melee and 10k health

They hatch with 1.2k ml on smalls get to close to 3k with lvls
leveling movement speed is useless on these it doesnt effect the charging speed at all

Good against land PvP go against a decent sized tribe your getting dropped on your head on a rhino " before anyone says you could load it up make it heavier, let's be honest when it comes to PvP your never ready so don't use that lol good on Pve
