In this video series, I kill every V Rising boss on Brutal difficulty as 10 levels lower than the boss and Frail Blood. Default Brutal settings. Filmed in the V Rising 1.0 patch.

I don't usually use "cheese" tactics like despawning adds on my challenge bosses, but as this one is a boss that people want to kill as soon as they leave the starting graveyard, I wanted to show how to make the fight very easy. Let me know if this is something you want to see more or less.

Watching you side strafe, I've realised I need to stop relying on my space dodge as a crutch.
It works very good against the Knights later on. They have the overhead strikes that go in a direct line. With some side steps you can avoid it.
I thought I could take down this boss easily on my first brutal mode run, but it ended up being me who got taken down...brutally.

if you have problems with the alpha wolf on brutal. i have bad news for you...
@@kratox123 Yeah, the new move totally caught me off guard. I thought I could just rush through it as usual.
On my first Brutal run, Alpha was one of the most problematic for me! I'm so used to killing it on the way out of the graveyard at a low level that I was surprised to get killed many times. I had to go build base instead and gear up a little bit.
Nice One! But you really should use more Cs on the wolf jumps to make it a bit faster. you dont need it anyways.

Is there a trick to dodging the pounce attack?
The pounce is trying to predict your movement path, so if you run straight, it will land right on you. The trick is to run straight in one direction until you see the pounce starting and then turn to the opposite direction right away.
