I grew up listening to my older brothers Glassjaw records then when I was 14 this record came out and it was really weird to see him go from heavy post hardcore to power pop either way loved this band wish they would put out the record they have been promising for 8 or 9 years.
First Time hearing this song🎼...👯♀️👯♀️ Blew me away ...🤯! 2004 had it so good. Kind-a glad I missed out🤷🏾 I'll be enjoying it for the Summer 2022💦👙👙👙
+foosheezoo If you're watching this on a laptop it's easy to miss the differences. Listen to both of them with headphones. The main guitar and drums on this one sound different, the whole track sounds cleaner, and you can hear an added acoustic guitar in the background. Also interesting that in this video they didn't include the cigarette-smoking fellow from the other video.
The backing vocals are slightly out of tune in the original (maybe in the wrong key?), and so is the 2nd guitar that comes in on the 2nd verse. This mix fixes that. ALSO, the bass is mixed down slightly, the drums sound alot tighter (maybe due to compression?), and in general there are alot of small tweaks to the mix. This version sounds alot closer to a major label production than the original, which sounded pretty demo-y in comparison. Although I totally get it if you like the DIY vibe of the original, it has character, for sure But yeah, I think this version is better in basically every way. Except for maybe the bass, which deserves to be front and center like it was on the original IMO. But that's just my personal preference
any one else find it strange that Palumbo hates Roadrunner Records, yet he recorded a song for the Roadrunner United album? might just be me but oh well
@GunsnRoses1972 im pretty sure it was a good will peace offering.... but then afterwards there was still bitterness from both sides anyway so it continued.... I wish it wouldn't have worked out like that cos GlassJAw should be so much bigger than they are :D Fuckin love them!!!
I worked for a band who had chris do shit for them and the guitarist for head automatica as a tech and lord-alge is sick with a board but i honestly think he makes shit too clean and less raw. Lets go back to the days where bands recorded in giant wood rooms or even grizzly bear recording in a church on cape cod.
Love this song ever since I first heard it on the Suicide Girls' burlesque dvd, but this video freaks me out. His makeup is more OTT than the Suicide Girls'... and that's saying something.
This brings back so many really amazing memories. 2006 was a great year. 😭🖤
Yes, it was.

I haven't heard this song in ages and now I'm obsessed with it
Just saw them last night at the Grog Shop!
Always reminds me of a specific high-school crush.
Always does
You know this is a Chris Lord-Alge mix when the guitar comes in at 0:15 and is totally on the left side.
My dad got me listening to this band

Amo esta canción, tenía como 4 años la primera vez que la escuche en el videojuego Project Gotham Racing 3 y desde ahí no la dejo de escuchar.
When Daryl decided he wanted to look like Red Hot Chili Peppers.

@GunsnRoses1972 That was recorded when Glassjaw were still signed to Roadrunner.

Prefiero esta versión del video :)
I liked this song till I seen the video
I liked this song when it was in the Suicide GIrls first tour movie.
Damn, the first tour, so long ago. I still remember the show at The Echo... Snow, Stormy -good times.
Moo Moo Puppy Yeah, the quality of the tour dropped drastically during the second one, that's when all of SG's internal problems blew up.
The original video was one of the coolest videos ever. Now its not around anymore. Dont know why they changed it
remix????
wheres el-p remix??
Who’s here because of waterparks?
I'm here because of Glassjaw!

So you dont like the quality of recording technology getting better?
He should look rly camp...but even here he doesnt 0.o

What happened Daryl? you used to be cool
as opposed to a fake tune?
This is such a bad video
