I never figured out how to beat this boss, and the game wasn't really fun so I stopped playing altogether. Good music though, I think I listed more to the music of X6 rather than playing it.
You know what's the saddest part is though? This game has a LOT of untapped potential. The Nightmare system could have been an X1 stage effect gimmick, but cracked up to 11. Some of the mavericks actually have personality in X6, unlike X5 where it was just "AHHH LIGMA VIRUS GOT ME LAST SECOND WHILE WE WE'RE TALKING." A lot of the weapons are conceptually awesome, and could work If they were fine-tuned. X having Zero's Saber is a cool idea, and would be much better If X learned how to use the Saber as you beat more Investigators(X could possibly learn Zero's three-hit combo, downwards slash, and more, at the cost of no Zero in this game). Hell, even Alia and Gate would be great characters If they got fleshed out more(And Gate is already my favorite X villian because of his Woobie Backstory). All of this is wasted in a game with shitty levels, a bad translation, terrible bosses, and downright painful nightmare effects that bully you while playing(Nightmare Dark, Cube, and Fire can all go die in a hole).
@@someguy3267 I honestly don't remember any of that lol. But as I said, I played like 3 stages and got bored. At that point I had previousl finished the previous 5 games and by X5 I was pretty much done with the series.
@@RockoEstalon Good move mate, you saved about 3 hours of your life. At least the music is phenominal in X6, my favorites being I.D.E.A, the Final Stage(Sigma lol), and Rainy Turtleoid.
@@someguy3267 Yeah I really love the music. Hi MAX, the turtle stage, Blizzard Wolf, gate's laboratory are among my favorites. I have a soft spot for Ground Scaravich too since the PSone era soundtracks got me liking Drum and Bass a lot, which I guess was a popular style at the time since I don't remember ever listening to that outside of game by the time I was a teen.
It was based on a great MIDI file from Swordbolt on vgmusic.com who did alot of the heavy lifting already (not sure where they are on youtube to credit them) I did have to add a lot more funky and slaps to the bassline though, the original midi was lacking alot of the funk in that area but good enough to work with 😀
Megaman x should ended with damn 5, 6 was weird story wise with damn ghost virus and crap, , and 7 well gameplay aestics didn't mesh well 3d enviorments, though guess, rpg and megaman x 8 were pretty decent. Least they wrapped up whole sigma thing by x8.
At last, the forgotten Maverick.
Daaang. Lol
He my favorite x6 investigator
Shield Sheldon, bearer of the super broken Guard Shell.

I love Ristar

The boss was really easy but the stage was ass lol. Pretty much the whole x6 game was poorly made rushed mess but the music was so good

Potentially a candidate for alternate zone music? In particular, Mystic Cave Zone from Sonic 2.
Here's a slightly related fact: If you listen to the beta theme of Spike Rosered/Axel the Red, you can hear Press Garden Zone!
@@HOL457 It's almost scary, especially since the prototype version is even more similar to Press Garden
great remix
I have to wonder: how hard was this one to transcribe? there’s a lot of funkiness throughout

"Sheldon?"
Shield Sheldon: Yes, that's my name.
A toughie from my childhood. I could never reach Metal Shark Player or Gate.
De mis temas favoritos del X6.
I forgot how excellent this stage theme is!
I also forgot exactly how obnoxious Alia's gameplay interrupts are.
That's because they're entirely optional in X6 lol
Strange that this music in some styles has an ice-level music vibe and in others desert-level music
Name correction: Prism Clam
The songs in this game are perfect, and so is this remix
Please do Flat Zone GBA remix
Thank you so much for this good song. I was waiting for you to finish this

The funniest part is that it wasn't supposed to end with X5 nor did X8 wrap up anything beyond making it look like Sigma is dead.
