I just wanted to mention when i first "met" Brian Christopher. My high school sponsored a USWA/Memphis wrestling show in 1992. I got to be the doorman-watch the doors for the "heels" that night. Brian was coming up then and was a "hot" heel. He came in and i was just being a goof and i asked him if he wanted my autograph. His exact words were "what you gonna put on there...sissy boy?" Honestly, it was a real cool moment. Thanks, Brian. He was an outstanding talent. Great "heel", great "babyface". USWA was what i grew up watching. Made some good friends while watching that and going to school. Want to mention one of my favorite angles in wrestling: when Brian turned heel on tv-beating Reggie B. Fine with his own feet on the ropes. A star, no doubt.

Great story and I can picture him saying that to you about your autograph. Thank you for sharing it with every one.

Most of the news articles being written these days are leaving out a lot of pertinent information on this case. Seems its only purpose is to make his father (Jerry Lawler) look bad for questioning something that seems so routine to the Hardin County Jail and the TBI. These article do not mention how Brian was NOT by himself that day at all; even though the articles say “he was placed in a cell by himself because of his notoriety”. Another inmate in the jail managed to steal his identity and tried to use it AFTER he was buried. Oddly enough, the jail did not bother notifying his father about this. The Hardin County Jail is a fairly new facility (being just a few years old), but somehow none of the cameras around Brian were working that day. What a strange coincidence!? How could so many cameras be out of operation in a jail? Were there any maintenance reports made on this and were they made before Brian hung himself? Any person that has followed this case at all with the newspaper, television and on-line articles should easily have those questions.
Now to the most serious items that absolutely should be questioned in this case. Why would Brian be allowed to have his heavy duty shoe strings in a jail cell? What was he suspended from in the cell? His father has said that he could not understand what Brian could be suspended from in that cell. If there actually was a suspension, why would they not be able to show his father exactly where it was done. They let his father see the cell it happened in. Were there diagrams made on a report from the officers that found him? There definitely should have been. It looks like that would all be privileged information to a father.
To me personally, the most obvious sign of foul play comes from seeing the actual photos of the ligature marks around Brian's neck. These photos were released by his father. I blew the photos up on a 60 inch TV screen. You can easily see a mark around his neck where the supposedly shoe string(s) were. You can also easily see his hand blocking the string. I could even see the imprint of two of his fingers. Later, his dad also confirmed in one of his interviews that the ligature marks continue on the inside of Brian's hand. This further explains the finger imprints. This could only mean that Brian was trying to save himself from being strangled. He seen it coming and tried to grab the ligature before it tightened. If he had suspended himself and suddenly changed his mind, you would be able to see his finger nails clawing to get under the ligature to get his fingers in that final position to leave those imprints. There are NO claw marks. Now, a man that wants to commit suicide by hanging would not try to protect his neck from strangulation. How can that make sense to anyone and why are people not questioning this?
The officers said that Brian was suspended in the cell when they found him. First, those shoe strings have to be heavy enough to suspend a 230 lb man without breaking. Second, how did the guards come by just a few minutes after he was suspended? We know that Brian was not dead at this point although he had suffered brain death from the lack of oxygen. The brain can generally survive for up to about 6 minutes before the other organs begin to shut down. That is a very narrow window and makes this save a miraculous coincidence especially since there were no cameras around Brian working that day.
So for a 230 pound man to be suspended in the air for around 6 minutes, you would expect to see the ligature marks going upward as you get to the back of his neck. The laws of gravity would make sure that would happen. Those same laws would apply to the type of injury you would see on the neck. The photos show his neck to be more bruised than cut into with a narrow shoe string. With this weight being suspended for this amount of time, a (thin) shoe string should begin to cut into the skin at least a little. You should probably see some burn-like marks where the string would slide up on his neck when he finally suspended himself. Again, this would be the laws of gravity. There are no sliding marks anywhere on his neck. Why? How can this make sense?
Most shocking from the enlarged photos were the imprints the ligature had left on his neck. You can see symmetric vertical lines imprinted on his neck. It immediately brought to mind a nylon cable zip tie. I use them all the time and am very familiar with this simple pattern to keep them locked in place. All of this happening in a jail makes perfect sense to why it could easily be the type of ligature that strangled Brian.
There is no reason that it should take this long to prove that Brian committed suicide just like they said. It is as easy as matching the shoe string cut off of Brian’s neck to the pattern imprinted on his neck. I am sure all of the evidence was kept. The key factor will be if they find that his vertebrae are not elongated. X-rays should have been taken in the hospital, but I have never heard any results. These would easily prove that Brian did or did not hang himself. I am not a forensic scientist; but it does not take one to see the discrepancies in this case.
I am also noticing the longer the investigation drags out, it is getting more difficult to find his father’s interviews and images he released after Brian’s death. PLEASE, I encourage everyone to enlarge the death photos and think about what the jail is saying happened to Brian. Does it really make sense?
I hate that this article, like so many others, are trying to belittle Brian and Jerry. They are always pointing out all the trouble he had been in over the years. They show far more mug shots than they do publicity photos. Why would they do that? I am not convinced in any way that he wanted to die because he had been in trouble so many times. Why does it feel like they are trying to make me believe that?
They are also trying to make it seem as if Jerry simply cannot handle the fact that his son committed suicide. Some stories are headed to the direction of blaming him for his son still being in jail when he could have been released on bond. How could anyone imply that? The only thing Jerry cannot handle is the lame explanation he has been given by the jail and the investigators at this point.
I am very proud of Jerry for wanting to get answers that make sense in his mind and I hope anyone with questionable circumstances, as in this case, would do the same for their child. Please let me know what you think about the questions I have asked in these paragraphs. Why is it taking so long when the answers to prove this case should be right there? If the shoe string cut from around his neck matches the imprints on his neck and if his x-rays from the hospital that day/evening show that his vertebrae are elongated, there is no question in my mind that he indeed committed suicide. If the shoe string has somehow disappeared and no x-rays were taken of a hanging victim, there is no question in mind that Brian was murdered and people are trying to cover it up. Let me know what you think after you enlarge the death photos. If this can be done to Brian, it can be done to anyone. That is why getting to the truth in this case is so important.

I hope Brian Christopher's family and friends find the truth of his death. I really hope Brian was not murdered. Cause it is really weird Brian would kill himself, specially when people loved him. and i think its bull that he was in a cell by himself just cause who he was. lame excuse.

That's how it works its everywhere if your famous or a snitch or orhave medical problems something like that they put you in a private cell for your protection now if he was coming off drugs and his dad refused to bond him out he could of had a breakdown it happens all the time altho your supposed to be checked on every 10-15 min they don't I was left in a holding cell for hours alone with nothing over something I never even got charged with guards are lazy and some of them are dicks but I don't see them killing him they had no reason and they knew he was famous and it would bring a world of trouble down on them its sad but I really think he killed himself

@@jessieb9384 If he indeed hung himself, why did the TBI's investigation take so long. It would be as simple as matching the shoe laces with the imprint on his neck and showing his x-rays with elongated vertebrae. That is proof positive. To this very day, either of those things have been released from the investigation. Jerry did win a smaller suit. I think it was for approximately 6 million, which he gave to his grandchildren (Brian's children} and nothing else has ever come out about this case. I also think that part of the deal was that Jerry could not further discuss the details of this case. I feel that Jerry had accepted that he was fighting a battle he could never win and he at least wanted something for his grandchildren.
