- Salut à tous! Voici une petite vidéo faîte sur ligne classique dans les gares de Rognac, Bailargues, Vias.
Au programme beaucoup de TGV, Teoz, Eurostar à 160 km/h! Bon visionnage :)

Before the TGV and Eurostar, IC trains with a classic electric or diesel locomotive was the way of French rail travel. Early FTS holidays in the 70s included a ferry to Calais, and night train, and coach.
Eurostat in south of France ! Never see that before.

Bonjour Charpentier, nice capture of the freight train and great filming in general. Exceptionelle. Question, why are the TGV trains running with all their pantographs up in these locations when they only run with one per set when on the high speed network? Merci
+GaryNumeroUno because they are 2 électrical alimentations in France : 1500V ( so 2 pantographs up) and 25000V ( one pantograph up)

Great trackside video. TGV vs Intercity a Eurostar and a goods train. The lovely TGV duplex in Blue and Grey colour. Intercity coaches and BB electric locomotives ruled the rails before TGVs

What are the differences between the Blue TGVs and White TGVs? Are they sort of like OuiGo? like.. cheaper? or Are they used to differentiate regions/lignes?
Edit: I'm not talking about AVEs
The blue livery is actually a dark shade of blue which means the old livery. The white livery, called "Carmillon" is the new livery.

ASAPPMG oui, la LGV était fermé suite à un accident de personne ...
+Charpentier Lucas Abon ?? Mais cela veut dire que pendant quelques temps tous les trains passaient par Avignon pour récupérer la lgv ?? Un allongement du temps terrible et pénible :(

+Gérard Gillet Merci! :) mais mis à part le passage de l'Eurostar et de 1 TGV en gare de rognac ( dût à la fermeture de la LGV Méditerranée) le reste est filmé entre Nimes et Narbonne donc pas de LGV à cet endroit la, sa circule tout le temps sur ligne classique :)

Non justement, la deuxième rame en motrice de tête on a une motrice duplex et en queue une réseau.
Il me semblait que la motrice d’origine qui devait aller sur ce duplex était en maintenance et ils lui ont mis une réseau à la place
Shinkansen trains in Japan occasionally do that too.
@@wizardxs8117 No i mean the second TGV train set has both Duplex and Reseau Duplex locomotive in it. That's why it was weird.

Re-watching this after a couple-year interval, some of the trains appear unnaturally slow, which indicates use of zoom on the lens. If that is the case, don't do that, it distorts the true speed.
Why is there an Ave on French trackage? Is there a service from Barcelona or something?

Demba Kane c'est devenue intercité, mais les rames restent TEOZ, et commencent à se transformé en Carmillon mais pour l'instant c'est rare dans l'axe Bordeaux Marseille/Nice

Yes they do. The TGV ( 2trains 400m) for example at 1:06 passes in 9 secundes. 400m / 9secundes = 44,4 m/s (160 Km/h)
