Its such a shame that the zombies community couldn't just let the original crew go. Chaos had so much potential but instead I felt like we got some pretty mediocre maps alongside a very poor ending to the OG crew. Maybe we can see a return of the Chaos storyline and this style of zombies in general. I still want that Egypt map
@@Dimtear dead of the night was a cool map but good lord it had so much going on in terms of boss zombies. Otherwise pretty neat, though I will say this was a problem for most of the chaos maps but it’s only really a problem on dead of the night cause you need to set up the stuff for the stake knife and silver bullets so the bosses don’t catch you with your pants down.
If the game wasn’t literally unplayable for the first two weeks that it came out, and imo if they stuck to one storyline at a time instead of juggling both at once, I think it would’ve been much more well received. (Also not having the most mid perk system ever would’ve helped too)

It's not just the maps that I loved from this storyline (Yes even Voyage of Despair) but also the characters as well, Bruno, Diego, Shaw and Scarlett were a nice change of pace from Primus and Ultimus (and i guess Victis too) and I enjoyed the conversations each would have with the others, it's just a shame we may never get to see them again, but I really hope we do as they have so much potential, and they already have a cliffhanger to continue from.
Dude, rewatching this video for like the 16th time made me realize how little we appreciated these maps. This was so good and we had no idea what we had in our hands because we were so focused on the Aether story & it's ending
Been waiting on this one for a while. Thank you for making it happen. Very big fan of the Chaos maps, I wish the game was received better as a whole. The eggs for these maps are difficult enough to keep you coming back too. Ancient Evil and IX are in my top 5 all time too.

I remember playing IX wit my boys on New Year’s Eve. We have never completed the Easter egg and I didn’t know how to do it. When the elephant came out I was so confused and the dam thing knocked me out of the map killing me instantly lol. The story does have a happy ending and my boys clutched up
Don't know how many noticed this but, when you look at the step where the planets line up on the tree it lines up perfectly with how the Norse people believed the universe was set up. The tree is the world tree Yggdrasil. The cosmic tree that holds all of creation. The planets line up with the positions of each of the 9 realms. Now I wasn't paying attention to which planet/star/satillite went where. But here's how the Norse cosmos looked. To the north there lies Asgard and Vanaheim, the homes of Aesir and Vanir gods. To the south lies at the roots, lies Svartlheim, Helheim, Niflheim and Musphelheim. The homes of the Dwarves, fire giants and the dead. Also at the roots would be Well of Urd, home to the Runes and the Nornir, the Weavers of fate (also known the fates if you're more familiar with the Greek pantheon) To the west lies Jotunheim and Alfheim (east)home to the Frost giants and the Elves. And in the middle of tree is Midgard. Home to Humanity. I may have gotten some places mixed up location wise but I haven't read the story for a while. But if you know the Mythology then it ties quiet well. Also the Runes on the World tree is a callback to how Odin first learned the Runes. He hung himself On the world tree for 9 days and 9 nights didn't eat or drink or allow the other gods to help him down for that time.
Bo3 was my main zombies and I quit playing around ww2. I've never played any of the dlc for bo4 and I kind of want to after watching some more gameplay.
There’s another softlock glitch that still works that you didn’t mention. During the Ra step if Luna (Bloodwolf Bite) kills the last special zombie you’re stuck on an infinite round that you can’t do anything about.

I can say for certain that for how ever long ancient evil has been out and how many nine runs I’ve done I dropped bo4 after voyage and hadn’t even seen the ending of the chaos story and I’m disappointed in myself for no completing their story and focussing on the bo3 crew thank you Dalek for showing me the amazing maps and story young me was to dumb to play :)

I think it's because we didn't realize what was going on, zombies had always been great, but them taking away juggernog, and remaking maps, with some barely being reimagined... and then adding another story that no one really cared about because we were focused on the storyline of the original crew, going back now I feel bad for being part of that hate. I feel bad because look at vanguard. That's what the outcome was. I mean cold war looks awesome! Haven't played it yet, but there are no primary characters we get to play as. And then vanguard came.
I was NOT one of those UA-camrs who gave it a bad rep. Please do some homework before making assumptions like that man. I played every BO4 map and covered it all enjoying it the entire time. Never once made a video knocking the game.
@@MrDalekJD Apologies Dalek, should've explained further and less rash, what I mean to say is there was a lot of negativity during the BO4 lifecycle surrounding the core systems of the game like the perk and specialist, HUD etc. that turned people away from the game, I've seen a lot more appreciation for the game as of late and I just wished more of the fanbase had felt that sooner. I'm glad to see these maps being played more, again sorry for the presumption

As soon as bo4 came I instantly became hooked on chaos story and character because it was a whole new story that was way more interesting than aether for me. I was so tired of aether and which they ended it in bo3. Chaos was so cool the maps atmosphere and everything and all the mythology in it, wish people realized what a masterpiece it was sooner.

I was recently playing public matches and had a guy decide to do the IX Easter egg. I never knew what it was and I was completely lost but we managed to succeed
In the danu fire bomb step, if you're standing over the poop after you get the fire bomb kills. It drops you into the other step when you kill the last zombie, not including special zombies
Been a follower since BO1 easter eggs and as far as i can tell you , you made things posibile (easter egg) for me and my friends . Shame that current zombies storyline is poor regarding the old times
They intentionally haven't fixed it for the same reason so many of the challenges are pushing rounds. They want people to have a reason to not to speed run
Just imagine the chaos story didn't exist, but the chaos maps were part of the Normal story, and having the OG cast travel to Nine and have to fight in front of the audience, Richtofen Flirting with the audience, Dempsey like "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED??" instead of puss in boots haha
I genuinely never saw Ancient Evil, I heard about it like 2 years after it came out but didn't play BO4 at all so I never saw any footage from it and no one I knew played the game either so we just didn't talk about it

For zombies i never fully got into b04 and only tried abit of cold war aswell, mite try them both out again tbf. Last 10 years tho b03 was just a different level still play it now.
I hated IX, because a couple days after release me and my friends were doing the EE and on the sewer grate key step, we couldn’t pick up the key cause the game glitched, after like 3 hours
I’ve been playing zombies since day one and I would take bo4 over anything after it’s 2024 and the best thing to look forward to is bo6 because everything has flopped since bo4 was the last true zombies experience
