Stay tuned and I’ll share what I’m learning about them. I went out in the pasture to check them tonight. All the black cows were standing around doing nothing and all the heifers were head down and grazing. 🤷🏻♂️
That's a good looking group of Heifers Cliff! I am looking forward to watching what they can do for your herd. After we get our farm more established over the next few years, I would definitely be interested in buying some of the calves out of these mommas. Keep up the good work.
Good looking bunch.... very interested in seeing how this develops. Any chance you ever need free labor in exchange for sharing knowledge with someone interested in starting their own operation? I'm in the Conroe/Magnolia area so easy travel to B/CS area. Love the content you share.
Nice set of heifers. When are they due to calve? Wish I could find someone in Tennessee that barter work for animals. Everyone just wants you to show them the money. Blessings🙂
@@cliffhonnasregenerativerancher We are located in Murfreesboro Tn. Looking for land to lease so I can start back doing what I love. Would love to find someone to barter honestly with. Thank you for asking🙂
Are they registered and if so, are you planning on keeping them registered? How did you find them? If you don't mind me asking how much was a bred heifer going for?
I found them on the members list at southpoll.com. They are registered and I plan on keeping them registered. Email me on the rest chonnas@texasequinehospital.com.
They hadn’t had water or anything to eat in 14 hours. That plus the stress of transport is the reason. Within 12 hours they were plump and looked fantastic!
Mr. Honnas, would you mind making a video about this breed for learners like myself... Why this breed, why from the place purchased... Maybe something about the cost of purchase, transport and the opportunity it presents (business mentorship)? Thanks for considering, making these videos... Looking forward to each one since Greg shared your channel.
them are some beautiful ladys you got your self!! i`m here for the ride with you to see how they do,, thank you for sharing
Will be a fun ride!
Sight unseen, they look uniform. Good purchase.

I too am going with the south polls. I hope 🙏by next year

Would love to have a group like that to work with. Love the docility of this breed. A pleasure to be around.
They were a little stirred up coming off the trailer but once out in the pasture, they were very gentle.
@@cliffhonnasregenerativerancher I'm working on building up my herd now, can't wait for calving season.
Boy they look good! That’s exciting!
Yes it is!
Lovely cattle, good luck with them
Thank you!
👍👍
😃
Nice heifers. I have a yearling bull from sassafras.
How do you like him? Registered?
@@cliffhonnasregenerativerancher yes he is registered. A son of Bruce’s 5440 bull. I like him so far. I will use him this fall/winter.
@@dbard123 best of luck with him. Where do you live?
@@cliffhonnasregenerativerancher Mena Arkansas
DR HONNAS IS THE BEST! 100
😊😎
They're very nice
I sure like them!
@@cliffhonnasregenerativerancher I've been researching the south poll breed.
@@mrjay6483 I’m a believer in them for sure!
Awesome video jealous of your genetics. You and Greg have inspired me to get after it.
Do it!
Looks good, solid gold right there. Hard to get them.
They are out there but have to beat the bushes.
At first glance I thought they were Senepol heifers.
Lots of similarities for sure.
Nice but i love my angus!
We all have our preferences! That’s what makes the world go round! Enjoy them!
@@cliffhonnasregenerativerancher for sure! keep up the good work!

We are looking to do the same.
Awesome!
I see the triangle on some of them. They needed a new home.

@@cliffhonnasregenerativerancher Good, so glad to know they recovered well.
