It could work out massively for Sidious, make the rebels think it's a super weapon through false leaks, have the rebels attack it, and weather the Empire successfully defends it or lets the rebellion destroy it does not matter. Sidious could then paint the rebels as terrorists and thus turn everyone including some of their members against the rebellion.
The Empire could capitalise even more on the attack by having Sidious holding a dying soldier or civilians in his arms, asking why would the rebels do this? In fact make it a child in his arms. Stormtroopers giving out aid to the survivors, Vader heroic standing watch, guarding the survivors from any second attack.
This is an interesting story… turning starlight into a dark version of itself. This is the first imperial victory in which the main rebels (Ghost crew, Falcon crew, and most leaders) aren’t brutally killed. I imagine after an equivalent to rebels season 2 the Ghost crew join Zeb on his home planet and make a pathway for other rebels to flee the galaxy.

This was amazing. I’ve been a fan of your videos for a while and it’s always fun to see your interesting SW what if’s. It was also fun to see The Empire rebuilding Starlight Beacon instead of the Death Star getting shown some love. This is definitely an interesting scenario and it should definitely get shown some more love. Plus I think we can all agree that this is probably one of the most interesting/unique scenarios in SW…but it’s a welcome one. Also if The Empire did rebuild Starlight…then it would definitely be an interesting opportunity to show another side of their character and make it even more interesting. It was also nice to see The Empire rebuilt this famous station getting shown some love, since they usually never get the chance to do crazy stunts like this (at least no more than usual) like this that much and it was a nice change of pace to see them take the initiative and definitely made us all impressed. Plus it was nice to see The Empire get that opportunity to have a larger role in aiding to help make a major impact in the galaxy…afterall it was nice to see them have a solid plan, afterall this was probably the smartest course of action they could take, so it was nice to see them come up with this plan to shift the power balance of the galaxy, since they know that there’s still opportunity and strength in the galaxy. Also it’s always nice to see just how determined The Empire truly is…also this was definitely something The Empire would do. Also I think that The Starlight Beacon is one of the most underrated aspects of SW lore so it was nice that you were showing this amazing station the love and respect it deserves. Great job as always and I can’t wait to see what you do next. I do have a few ideas for some possible what if’s: 1) What if Rey was a Mandalorian…essentially what if Din Djarin found Rey and took her in as a Foundling. 2) What if Ezra was a Mandalorian…something like how both his parents were Mandalorians who left Mandalore and went to start their own lives (you could still keep most of Ezra’s backstory) and potentially make Ezra and Sabine a couple (since Disney won’t, we have too…#ezrabine4ever. 3) What if Jango Fett and/or Boba Fett Joined the Republic…I think something interesting could happen with this. 4) What if Rey, Finn and Poe went back in time to the Clone Wars…this would make the World Between Worlds even more of an important focal point and I could also see them get along well with Anakin, Ashoka, Rex and the rest of the 501st (it would be fun to see Rey, Finn and Poe join the 501st) I hope these are some amazing ideas for some potential What if’s
What if Anakin and Obi-Wan swapped? What I mean is instead of Obi-Wan going through youngling training, getting trained by Qui Gon, and eventually finding Anakin and his mother on Tatooine. Anakin is the one to be trained as a youngling, get trained by Qui gon, find Obi wan and his slave mom on Tatooine. Swap the Midichlorian counts of the two and try to keep the personality’s close to the same. Example : Anakin is still a cocky Jedi but he has to suddenly train the chosen one (Obi wan) after his master (Qui gon) dies at the hands of a sith. Also you should make Padme fall in love with Obi-Wan instead of Anakin since they are swapping places. In my opinion the new relationship between Anakin and Obi Wan would be very similar to Dooku and Qui gon. There are lots of different ways you could go with this what if. I think this could be an awesome story and you should make it! (make it at least 1 hour long?)
What if Kalani joined the Rebellion after they destroyed the Death Star over Yavin 4? I want to see your take on this, see how he builds up his forces after escaping Agamar.
