Just saw this. In the video at about 1:55 the cutter doesn’t appear to have cut a neatly curved end onto the leader. It’s squared off and there is a half cut sprocket hole visible. Was the film end not inserted far enough or does it really give a squared-off film end?
Are you kidding, $65 usd for a hunk of steel that would cost less than $5. I would have snatched it at $30 but 65 is just gouging photographers royally
This is the same price the people who manufacture the piece charge. As Brooklyn Film Camera said, if its so easy to do it, you should. Clearly there is a market for it. Equally, small batches of properly built and designed products cost money, that's how things work. Complain all you want, but that doesn't change the fact that its what the unit costs, and rightly so.
Yes. Ordered immediately.
Aaaaaaaand cut! That's a roll!

Is there a film cutter for extra long leaders such as required by Barnack Leicas?
Neat idea.

$85 USD
60 USD? And bulk loading is still about economy? Hey guys! Be honest. It's about fiddling and fun! :D

We'd challenge anyone to commission, design, and produce this product on a small-batch basis with these materials for less! We'll wait.
