Ok. Some people have different workflows than you. So what? Just because you use the channel rack doesn't mean everyone has to. I use drums directly in the playlist so I have more control over where that drum is placed (sometimes intentionally off beat for flavor) as well as individual sample volumes and even crossfading if needed. Sure it's not the most efficient way to do drums but it's still a way to do them.
