HDD coating Damage #2

In this video I follow up on the idea from the first in this group. To discuss why it is vital to understand that HDDs are installed in HCAs and show examples of the types of coating damage that lies beneath the ground. You will see and learn about how this damage occurs and I touch briefly on the idea why CP doesn't work in HDD installations.

In 2019 I published an article with NACE which discussed the discrepancy between PHMSA regulations and the current PRCI guidelines regarding pipeline coating protection in High Consequence Areas. Unfortunately this one isn't free, but if you are a NACE member you can probably download it.
