Your Duskmourne drafts are what brought me back to your channel! I'll watch them as they come - the variety of both decks and playpatterns are great and my main reasons to watch, especially over BLB.
Not everyone is here for cube. I'm only here for the drafts of the most recent set and Duskmourn is especially fun! Really happy about every new video from that set :)
Duskmourn is definitely the most fun draft format for me this year, and one of if not my favorite of all time. I thought the flavor of the set wasn't really for me during spoiler season but man has it grown on me with how many sick brews you can make in limited.
I know I don't speak for everyone, but I personally prefer the current limited format videos over cube. Its a way to learn the format without investing my time or gems so that when i do get the time I can jam. Cube videos are great and play what's fun of course, but if duskmourn is the obession, I don't think that that's a bad thing. Just my own two cents. Thanks for everything Luis.
I would very much take as much Duskmourn content as you want to give us, this format is phenomenal. The decks are interesting and the games feel really fun.
Duskmourne is a great format, as a non-cube hater in the past I'm more than happy to see this content. Don't be afraid to keep these coming, I'm sure you could use the break from bad beats in cube anyway!
Cube is not everyone’s choice, more duskmourn videos would be great from my perspective. I almost never watch the cube videos, but I’ve watched most of your duskmourn drafts.
Yeah, I watch all the arena drafts, but I don't like the cube drafts much (mostly because of the platform, arena helps me understand what's going on with less thinking involved, would love if they implemented cube in MTGA)
The channel is primarily a cube channel. I like the duskmourn drafts and I think a lot of other people do becaude it's shaping up to be an all-timer of a limited format. But when we get mediocre to weak formats like bloomburrow I'd definitely prefer exclusively cube drafts after his first couple ventures into a new format.
Sometimes you go 1-3 with a sweet deck. It's rough, but it births three sweet "I beat LSV, and his deck was sick" stories. The deck was drafted well and piloted well, not too much more you could do.
Cube is my favorite format by far. But I'm watching your videos because of you, not the format you're playing. Whatever format you're happy playing, I'll watch.
at 35:26, (draft 1 game 3), there's a case for playing the swarmweaver before attacking. Spineseeker Centipede is an insect, so it would get buffed by swarmweaver and would take the glimmer out as well, also would invalidate jump scare.
Felt that Waltz of Rage coming in my core when he was about to have 5 mana and didn’t block with Hand. Bad draws with an insane deck though gg’s thanks for the video
Duskmourn is great. I prefer Cube over everything ultimately, but I would also personally be fine with a few more draft videos from each set in general. Especially this set. Either way, I basically watch every video haha.
I love both cube and Duskmourn. But I would love to see more Duskmourn. When the draft format is good I want to see more of it. There will be plenty of time for cube in the future.
3:20 Cube might be a lot of people's first choice but there's still a very significant portion of us that only watch your newest limited content. I started playing MTG in the late 90's but have never taken interest in vintage.
I know this is old now, but I think derelict attic is solid. The only problem I've had with it, especially when drafting golgari, is that it has to compete with other rooms like Moldering Gym. At that point it gets harder to justify including. It's odd because I think draw 2 lose 2 as a permanent is strictly better than a sorcery (which is what a lot of black draw spells are) and even as a sorcery it's not exactly terrible. I've gotten the most value out of it playing rakdos alongside disturbing mirth. I felt really exposed dropping it on curve though, so I usually saved it to refill my hand after dropping a few creatures.
I don't mind Duskmourn at all. I really disliked Bloomburrow though. That set felt like every game was just board jamming with bears and hill giants with not much else going on
Luis - in your last video you asked for suggestions for cards for your cube list. I'd like to suggest Aboleth Spawn, it's been good for us in paper highlander, think it could be interesting in cube too.
@1:21:14 you could’ve Balloon Man’ed your Fear of Being Hunted, put the Glimmerlight on one of your 3/1 fliers, and attacked with your balloon token, the 3/1 flier, and the now 4/2 flier and had lethal.
I watch more Duskmourn than cube, but I have seen one or two cubes that were still fun. Also, I just started watching this video so maybe it comes up later, but at 5:13 I can’t for the life of me understand how Under the Skin was picked over Live or Die (without even a word of consideration). All the reasons cited for Under the Skin were understandable. However for two mana more you can get direct reanimation or hard removal at instant speed!
Luis you jumped to the defence of Malevolent Chandolier and Found Footage in the crack-a-pack on LR and have since uploaded decks featuring the use case for both... is this subtle trolling, or are you just really loving those niche commons :P
I'm wondering if Duskmourn is maybe coming into the conversation as one of better draft formats of all time. It has to be the best spooky draft format by this point, I've had way more fun drafting Duskmourn than original Innistrad, and none of the other spooky formats are even close.
Pack 3 pick 1 was a clear vile mutilator. You auto win the late game with all the recursion already in your deck, which is why under the skin is redundant here.
I have found abzan super easy in this format. Selesnya splashing black is good but golgari splashing white is nuts. I lean towards golgari and will always pick up trapped in the screens, even early. Having the black removal and the white exile is pretty good. And I still think cathartic parting is trash. Fungus or break down the door are better in my eyes.
I don't really get why my win% isn't higher. Maybe I'm not playing top of my form, but I'm drafting really well, right? Last night, for instance, I drafted a frankly absurd Azorius Enchantments deck with Overlord of the Floodpits, Ghostly Dancers, Enduring Innocence, 2x Inquisitive Glimmer, and a really good control package with 2 Get Out. The deck was obscene, but I went 2-3. Am I just unlucky in my matchups? I don't really know what else I could have done in either drafting or deckbuilding to fix things, and my playing was definitely above the 48% W/L record I currently have. I am nearly certain i would have won ever matchup i played if they were best of three
I have been getting kind of beaten down in this format so far as well, to an abnormal degree. I think I just don't understand this format as much as I need to yet tbh. I've literally peaked #1 mythic in the past though lol so I'm not used to being the person that's missing something
@@KVWI that is interesting; I don’t know what makes DSK different that I’ve heard this here and there online, eg a post on Reddit. I’ve had a lot of success with the format, and I’d be willing to take a look at yours too if you’d like. Let me know and maybe we can crack the code if it’s something other than variance
Is anyone else having a bug on arena where they cant see their sideboard cards if they are set up vertically? I have and can't figure out why its happening.
I definitely prefer arena drafts > Cube drafts. Cube doesn't interest me all that much, drafting the current set is definitely my favorite. More duskmourn drafts please!
I’m almost always slot Grab the Prize into my RW deck, especially if short on Percussionists. I feel like the easiest way to lose with RW is drawing poorly. Am I crazy here? Any thoughts people?
I think taking Say Its Name over Altanak P1P2 is nuts. SIN is much more replaceable and if you pass someone an Altanak they will be gobbling them up and your odds of seeing more go down.
You're probably right that there is a delta between interest in Cube and [Insert Current Set], but I think equally or more meaningful is the delta between the MTGO/Draftmancer draft and play experience as a viewer. It's just better than Arena. Once you throw in the stakes of a 64-man, the opportunity to play against known and stronger competition, the superior best-of-3 format, and the added spice of team competition, any Arena draft of [Insert Current Set] is up against stiff competition. If MTGO had something similar to the 64-mans for Cube Worlds invites for the Duskmourn, I bet that the delta in viewership interest would be much smaller. The same goes for if you team draft Duskmourn.
I stopped watching cube a while ago since it felt like he tried to draft the same deck over and over while playing with the same people who also had preferred draft styles. In other words a lack of variance. This might've changed by now since it's been quite some time.
am i the only one running into bugs in this format? in 2 games ive had slimy aquarium not manifest dread upon activation. also ive not been passed priority in combat while trying to flip a face down card before damage more than once. yes i had the mana to flip them.
I think the new horror cube is very fun and more skill intensive vs the vintage cube draft and a lot more interaction! I love both but I’ve been having fun on the horror cube.
these are my average drafts lol.... first 4 drafts of the set i was on the draw 80% of the time and facing people with decks like these, kinda turned me off the set for now haha
@40:32 your greedy decisions. Magic will humble you when you make the choices like that. You needed land and you thought you could get there with your other cards. When clearly, The Heart of the Cards saw you needed a land and gave you that land at the price of practically blanking your surveil. Lol
Love it when you post the videos where things don't necessarily go well! Helps me deal with my own rough drafts. Thanks, Luis!
I was just thinking the same thing! If LSV can have a nice deck end 1-3, then I don't get upset if my stuff ends 1-3.
+1 to the chorus of people who prefer Duskmourn drafts over cube right now
Duskmourn has been the only set since you started the channel that I like as much as the cube drafts
My favorite bloomburrow draft
Can't wait to see him playing simic frogs again.
Duskmourn is definitely the most fun draft format for me this year, and one of if not my favorite of all time. I thought the flavor of the set wasn't really for me during spoiler season but man has it grown on me with how many sick brews you can make in limited.

Cube videos are great and play what's fun of course, but if duskmourn is the obession, I don't think that that's a bad thing. Just my own two cents. Thanks for everything Luis.
normally i skip the standard drafts and only watch cube but this format i’ve enjoyed watching almost as much as cube
I would very much take as much Duskmourn content as you want to give us, this format is phenomenal. The decks are interesting and the games feel really fun.
That whole sequence starting at 24:21 had me clenched. I felt wrath coming in my core lol
You are winning the YT game, LSV! I don't care about wins and losses, really. The combos, the lines, the thoughts, and of course, seeing you have fun!
I almost never watch the cube videos, but I’ve watched most of your duskmourn drafts.
yes!!
Yea! A medium rare rib eye isn’t everyone’s choice, some people want a well done flank steak with ketchup and steak sauce
Heretic!!!
perhaps more of these sneaky double drafts to get more duskmorne in?
That Waltz of Rage couldn’t be more telegraphed imo. Specially after taking the damage. Great draft thanks for posting!
Sometimes you go 1-3 with a sweet deck. It's rough, but it births three sweet "I beat LSV, and his deck was sick" stories. The deck was drafted well and piloted well, not too much more you could do.
I prefer the duskmourn drafts over Vintage Cube right now. Thanks LSV

Duskmourn is such a good set!
Possibly one of the best limited formats ever
I appreciate you showing bad beats, flood, screw etc. instead of just editing it out to make everything seem rosy like most mtg UA-camrs
Cool thing about Swarmweaver is that Altanak is an insect and trample deathtouch is brutal
Please please please do more of these. Cube will always be there.
Felt that Waltz of Rage coming in my core when he was about to have 5 mana and didn’t block with Hand. Bad draws with an insane deck though gg’s thanks for the video
I like the bad beats draft again videos now and again!!
I wasn't looking at the screen and got jump-scared when you mentioned "Bloomburrow draft" at the start
Would prefer more duskborn draft too, such a neat limited format
Duskmourn is great. I prefer Cube over everything ultimately, but I would also personally be fine with a few more draft videos from each set in general. Especially this set. Either way, I basically watch every video haha.
I'd much rather have more duskmourn drafts on the channel over cube at this stage. The format is sick!
My first choice is actually whatever you're enjoying the most. I really enjoyed you playing vintage in the VSL and I have never played vintage.
Rough games. Thanks for posting more Duskmourn content.
I love both cube and Duskmourn. But I would love to see more Duskmourn. When the draft format is good I want to see more of it. There will be plenty of time for cube in the future.

Hey LSV! Just wanted to let you know you can click the tv screens to turn them off!
"Welcome to another bloomburrow draft" lol
Seeing a pro go 1-2 with an amazing deck makes me feel better about going 1-2 in my drafts. It really do happen to everyone, don't it.
Enough of mythic ladder videos I need mythic leader videos!
I don't mind Duskmourn at all. I really disliked Bloomburrow though. That set felt like every game was just board jamming with bears and hill giants with not much else going on
An offering for the almighty algorithm.
I'm personally enjoying the duskmourne drafts more than the vintage cube but I realized (or at least assume) I'm in the minority.
Rank 69. Nice.
I enjoy the duskmourn more 😊
The gods of Duskmourn have punished you for calling this a Bloomburrow draft
Only LSV could pull off pitch stacking in MTG
Luis - in your last video you asked for suggestions for cards for your cube list. I'd like to suggest Aboleth Spawn, it's been good for us in paper highlander, think it could be interesting in cube too.

is this subtle trolling, or are you just really loving those niche commons :P
@40:05 you got punished for your hubris. Lol
I really enjoy watching cube, but duskmourne is very very solid
Bloomburrow? 🧐
I almost closed the video
I'm wondering if Duskmourn is maybe coming into the conversation as one of better draft formats of all time. It has to be the best spooky draft format by this point, I've had way more fun drafting Duskmourn than original Innistrad, and none of the other spooky formats are even close.

1:22:30 Yes it was. Fantastic save.
I won't lie, I'm enjoying duskmourn draft but god does it feel like you often go 0-3 or 1-3 with what you feel like is a decent deck
Newer viewer, my first choice is duskmourn for sure
This set is so sweet.
A deck with 4 spiders, and another with 3 bookworms? Those are some tough match ups.
I don't understand the fascination with Glimmerlight. +1/+1 equipment have always been last pick chaff. Is a 2 mana 1/1 added on it really worth it ?
i mean normally you are right and i am on your side but cheon takes it and whenever he plays it it never failed him and filled the curve
Its awesome with the percussionist and is one of boro’s best 2 drops
I've finally started drafting the set. Loving WR, WU, RG. Not liking BG though. I've felt it clunky and easily out maneuvered.
Morrrrrre duskmourn
I don't really get why my win% isn't higher. Maybe I'm not playing top of my form, but I'm drafting really well, right? I’m curious about this; your deck does sound incredible. If you have the 17lands logs I’d be willing to have a look at the draft and/or games
I have been getting kind of beaten down in this format so far as well, to an abnormal degree. I think I just don't understand this format as much as I need to yet tbh. I've literally peaked #1 mythic in the past though lol so I'm not used to being the person that's missing something

Not gonna lie, I'm really not gellin' with this Limited format. Can't say Duskmourn is on my high list of them this year.
Is anyone else having a bug on arena where they cant see their sideboard cards if they are set up vertically? I have and can't figure out why its happening.
They really need to do something to punish people who have that many packs held up
Honestly my first choice is always new set draft over vintage cube.
Triple MOM or triple Duskmourn?
I definitely prefer arena drafts > Cube drafts. Cube doesn't interest me all that much, drafting the current set is definitely my favorite. More duskmourn drafts please!
"I have 6 creatures and they have 1!?" Oops.
I’m almost always slot Grab the Prize into my RW deck, especially if short on Percussionists. I feel like the easiest way to lose with RW is drawing poorly.
Am I crazy here? Any thoughts people?
I think you mistakenly counted the fear of being hunteds when doing living phone math?
I think taking Say Its Name over Altanak P1P2 is nuts. SIN is much more replaceable and if you pass someone an Altanak they will be gobbling them up and your odds of seeing more go down.
It makes your odds of assembling the combo worse for sure, but I think it’s just better to take the better card and not worry about comboing
This used to be a Lorthos channel 😢 /s
Playing delirium and facing a mill deck in the first match would be tilting for most, not for lsv :)
You're probably right that there is a delta between interest in Cube and [Insert Current Set], but I think equally or more meaningful is the delta between the MTGO/Draftmancer draft and play experience as a viewer. New set!!!! First choice for me definitely
I think the new horror cube is very fun and more skill intensive vs the vintage cube draft and a lot more interaction! I love both but I’ve been having fun on the horror cube.
LSV, I think it's time for a return to standard. It's in a WILD place IMO from the games I've played.
I must have seen 20 ads on this. UA-cam is nearly unwatchable at this point
these are my average drafts lol.... first 4 drafts of the set i was on the draw 80% of the time and facing people with decks like these, kinda turned me off the set for now haha

.
Nothing worse than a first tier draft deck that doesn't go all the way,.
I like as much Arena content as you'll be willing to make, sir. MTGO is nigh unwatchable, barely above a PowerPoint presentation or Excel spreadsheet.
The constant loud swallowing noises and beard scratches this video are a bit much.
