its a try to frame how the shoes got repaired in our traditional way.. not about how to repair a pair of shoes

I`ve seen several of these street shoe repair video`s and I still cannot fully understand how that awl and thread technique works, I can see the thread is looped though itself and then passed through the shoe of trainer again, And I see they cut a groove around the bottom of the sole, But I cannot quite work it out

the needle works like a hook too.. to take the thread inside out and make a loop knots to tie the thread
That needle is actually a hook. The needle penetrates the shoe goes inside, graps the thread that is in the shoe, then pulling out with the thread on the hook. Passes the other thread through the thread that was in the shoe then the tie occurs this repeats.
Threading machines works the same way.
Great video except for that noisemaker at the end, bloody annoying.
Indonesia is a muslim country and almost everyone is a muslim so you have a lot of mosques to cater for them. and since muslims pray 5 times daily, the call to prayer goes 5 times daily...u can work out the rest
