@@DubRgames i noticed you sbs are a bit slow, you should be pressing right click right after you press left click and hold the block until the swing ends, not press block mid-swing thats why you get slapped down a ton from what i see in your gameplay

Bro you’re actually really good considering most people around your skill level are trained by pros but you’re like me. Fully self taught I found out how to properly block by watching other pros and I can consistently disarm now
lol i’m self taught too, never saw the appeal of “learning” from clan members because of how much drama and power tripping most ssd clans have. overall adding clans wasn’t a good idea and neither was removing dismemberment and removing maps from rotation

Hey Dubr, nice video. Can I ask for some advice for something more advanced? Idk if you’ve ever encountered this, but how do you counter a opponent who does nothing but spins their camra around super fast with their saber while spamming push, as their main fighting tactic, if you know what I’m talking about? I never liked that out of all the diverse saber styles and tactics of fighting in this game, spinning completely around with a super sensetive camera is what ends up dominating a server regardless of if your trying to actually think of ways to defeat the opponent.
excessive yawing is pretty tricky to counter. Ur best bet is either slap (because its hard to yaw and swingblock) or try and stay out of range so they waste stamina by swinging and missing

Swingblocking prevents you from getting slapped or disarmed and also regenerates small portion of block points. You should be using it often because most experienced players aren't forgiving.
I don't hold shift, but that is something you could try. I swingblock (which I explain how to do in the vid) but also I try to dodge their swings when possible, that way I don't lose stamina 👍
Save up your credits(points) it's a huge waste of robux buying sabers when a another player can beat you with anything when you use anything. This is one of those games where players can stick to one thing(style) and never die. There's a lot of spammers and even ones that can disarm you in one strike or eat up your stamina within two swings

Here is the obligatory, "Local Potato picks apart video" comment, starting with your mistakes: - There is none. There's some missing information, but it doesn't mean that it's wrong. I like this video because it doesn't sell itself as something that it isn't, that being an ultimate guide. It simply teaches players good habits that anyone should be able to somewhat easily get. Funnily enough, DubR seems to be doing some extra good things that he does not notice himself. Starting with: 1. He doesn't *walk* constantly, allowing him to dodge the opponent's swing. Notably shown at the 11:10 mark, where he constantly dodged the form 7 swings. 2. He doesn't hold down the mouse 1, which in addition to preventing swing blocks, also reduce your stamina even more. 3. He notes down that *accuracy* is more important than *speed*. It doesn't matter whether you can spin at relativistic speeds, if you never actually land a swing. 4. He notes down that different sabers have different playstyles, and different methods to countering them. This is good. 5. He attempted to use force pull to catch someone running away. This is a good tip against people who use force run to escape when low on HP. 6. DISTANCING, THANK YOU. He mentions that against high attack saber, you should stay out of range. This tip also applies for people who spin around at insane speeds. 7. Kalm, good advice in general. It's a game, don't get too pissed off. That being said, a few tips I would love to add: 1. Alternatively, you can just time your swing to land when they just got up, potentially earning an interrupt. 6. I hear DubR spamming a lot. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, as it allows you to land comboes easier. But, this also risks you being interrupted repeatedly, because you start multiple swings. Not necessary against newer players, definitely necessary against advanced players.

I finally realized that all the forms in saber showdown is good I just have to time my attacks correctly and Time my slaps 😂😅

I don't hold shift, but that is something you could try. I swingblock (which I explain how to do in the vid) but also I try to dodge their swings when possible, that way I don't lose stamina 👍
