Given how contraceptices affect and even destroy women's bodies, I really understand why someone would prefer to pull and pray. We know how these contraceptive methods can send your hormones into whack, let's be honest. It can be a huge price to pay if you get pregnant and a huge price to pay if you go into depression because of off balance hormones.
For sure, not all bodies receive contraception well but we are both on the non hormonal IUD. It’s been a life saver

I think bleaching is bleaching and trying to distinguish high-end vs. low-end is giving classism, but I digress. Lydia put it so eloquently in terms of race and racism. I think colorism being so prominent in our society is one of the colonialism leftovers hence it being racism adjacent. It denotes self-hate since it shows that one wants to be seen as white or white adjacent which has been peddled as the "better race". I think bleaching in itself represents a larger issue not only by the bleacher but in society.

I once shared a room for three months with an Asian lady who would only shower once a week, that is when she was going to visit her bf. One day she even woke up and put on her jacket on top of the clothes she had slept with to work. But then she never smelled, nor did the room. Still, that was a huge culture shock

I just think, if you’re gonna rate body hair… thing thing that grows from your own body naturally..as a 2. At the very least, bleaching deserves a 2 as well. Nothing is wrong with rating excessive body hair as a 2. It’s the bleaching I have a problem with here.
