But, first let me tell you how much I appreciate how efficiently and easily you have explained all of the individual important features of each wig as well as giving their price points and doing them in order from low to high. This made your entire demo so easy and enjoyable to follow along. This is only the second video of yours that I have been so fortunate to watch so I am also learning a bit about you as well. I almost choked on my coffee when you mentioned that you are 65 years old! You must be drinking from the same fountain of youth that 80 year old Barb on her Beauty UTube channel is. In all honesty, you don't look a day over 40! And, by the way, I just adore the earrings that you are wearing and I think we both own the very same shirt, I just love it. Back to the wigs. Can I tell you?... You are absolutely stunning in all of the silver toned colors. Even though you had mentioned that your bio hair is a deep shade of brown, there is just something that makes you glow when you are wearing those silvery or platinum tones. My three personal favorites were Liana (I agree with you, absolutely adorable), Paige (love it for the waves) and Trend (of course, my personal favorite and the most expensive, lol). Kate looks gorgeous on you and was appropriately named, since you actually reminded me of Princess Kate when I first saw you in it. Both Scorpio and Jones looked wonderful on you. Jones being the more playful and casual version of Scorpio. Anna and Emilia both looked fabulous and the most natural of the entire group. Morning Storm (Star?) was my least favorite....too short and unflattering to your lovely face. Those are the ones that left the greatest impression on me, I hope that helps. If not for your superbly organized and very specific information, I could have never kept them straight. Great job! And thank you, I can't wait to continue binge watching your videos. It is hard to find wig reviews with bangs. This was a virtual smörgåsbord of those wigs. The styles varied and so did the colors and lengths. I felt as though l had inadvertently fallen into wig heaven. Thank you.
What a fun video! I love Liana so much I immediately purchased a backup, (both in Moonstone). I owe these purchases all to your review. ‘Storm’ looks promising for me. I love the bangs and how she hugs the face. Beautiful. I purchased Scorpio from QVC. It looked nothing like the beauty you’re reviewing. The fibers weren’t soft and flexible and the sides were extremely dense and full. She refused to relax, so I returned her. I love Jones! I have her in two colors, Silversun and Golden Brown. I’ve been considering Emilia for a while and, Stop Traffic may be a good choice for me! I want them all! Thanks for including some regular synthetic. I love new HD fiber, but it just doesn’t hold up as well without a lot of effort.

I am partial to bangs so this is a favorite video for me. Liana and Scorpio, moonstone and illumina, are my go to wigs almost daily--easy, comfortable, cute and about half the price of my expensive wigs that I don't like as well!

Hi Marcia, If you only wear bangs and not wanting to wear it side swept of off the face, there's really no need for the lace front. Alva has great coverage. If you want one similar with the lace front, then Emilia by JR would be close as far as style and offers the versatility to wear with bangs, off the face or side swept bang. However, Emilia is twice as much as Alva since it also has a full mono top. I guess it really depends on budget and how you like to wear your wigs. xoxo Marlene
Hi. I purchased a raquel welch wig. It is the "On in Ten" size large color is shaded sand. Its too big for me and the color was off from what i expected. I didn't realize the no return if i had shaken or combed which i did. It still has tags and in box just like it was. Im wanting tobsell it. Do you know of any sites i might be able to sell it on. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

My suggestion is to look for a private buy/sell FB where the admins watch out for their members. My other suggestion is to verify your order of On in Ten since that style is not available in large. Just more confused as to which wig to try next! I have 2 Alva’s and my only complaint is not having a mono part. But I have curly wigs as well. Like different styles but haven’t found shades I like in RW
Thanks for making this video, Marlene. It looks like all the grays are rooted...which isn't the way gray hair grows. I assume none of the grays you showed comes non-rooted (that's a question). ??
Hi, thank you so much for visiting. You are correct. Gray hair doesn't grown with dark roots. The grays I wear have a root and considered fashion colors. I wear rooted colors because my brows are black, I like matching my brows to the root, and whenever anyone compliments my hair I always say I'm wearing a wig. However, there are many non-rooted grays in just about all brands. If there's a style you like, the colors are listed with every online retailer. I apologize, but I don't know the color names without researching. I do know that Gabor, Raquel Welch, Tress Allure, Belle Tress, Noriko, Rene of Paris, and Jon Renau offer non-rooted grays on many styles. If there's a specific non-rooted gray you'd like to see, you may want to to go to CrazyWigLady's channel. She has many videos showing the non-rooted blondes and grays. xoxo Marlene
The On in 10 in this video looks shorter than the one you wore in your video wearing, I think it was Bronzed Sable. It looks very different here. Can you tell why?
Hi Kathy, it may be how I styled it. I had fussed with the one in Bronze Sable a bit more by combing it down which may have made it appear longer. I think the dark color also made it appear fuller. I put this one on my head for the first time for this video so what you saw was right out of the box with just a shake and nothing else. I'm guessing that may be the reason why one looked shorter than the other. xoxo Marlene

Hi Patricia, thank you for stopping by. I did a search of all the brands for below the shoulder, bangs, full mono & open wefted. There are 3 styles with all you're searching for: Beach Wave Magic and Breeze by TressAllure and Show Stopper by Raquel Welch. I didn't include them in my video because when I recorded this video the two from TressAllure hadn't launched and I didn't have Show Stopper. I hope this helps. xoxo Marlene

They don't lay flat so I have to wear a bobby pin to hold them down. Oyyyy! I do prefer Raquel Welch and jon reneau but I flinch if they need trimming. Like...I like the Heidi...but could I get bangs cut into it? I just would rather have a wig with bangs and not take any chances with cutting and regrets Even though I only trim a little at a time at wig boutiques sooo many wigs just have been ruined including show stopper...trimmed the bangs and its just not good at all I'll check your references I appreciate your time Thanks again 💚💚
You're very welcome, Patricia. Have you tried spritzing the bangs with some water and using a flat iron to get them to lay flat? There is a video that shows how to trim bangs using the twist method. If bangs on wigs are cut straight across, they tend to appear a bit wonky. I'll link the video here for you. You can trim the bangs on Heidi; however, you may need to steam them into place. I don't like nor do I know how to cut wigs, so I totally get it. The only thing I do is trim the occasional bang. Kathy, I find that most Noriko do ten to run a bit small. I think the ones I showed were pretty much the exception, but I just don't have a way of gauging if they'll fit 22.5" I'd hate to steer you wrong. xoxo Marlene
Hi, I'm not sure which one you are referring to, but many of the wigs I showed are available in non-rooted colors. I'll be 66 soon and so happy there is a color for each of regardless of our preference. xoxo Marlene
Hi Suzy, there are two reasons why I show primarily rooted colors: many of the wigs I review, I purchase; therefore, I try to purchase colors that I can wear if I love the wig and want to keep it; the other reason I didn't show any non-rooted colors in this video is because these colors are not available in rooted and unrooted versions. There are only a handful of colors that some manufacturers offer in both rooted and non-rooted. I hope this helps. xo Marlene

If you go through Belle Tress, TressAllure, and Ellen Wille, regardless of the style, you'll see less than a handful of non-rooted for each of these brands. There will be 1 or 2 non-rooted vs 8 rooted colors. I believe Jon Renau and Raquel Welch are two brands that offer more non-rooted blondes depending on style. xoxo Marlene

I love the look of Alva but I am hesitant to purchase it because it does not have a lace in the front.
Hi Marcia, If you only wear bangs and not wanting to wear it side swept of off the face, there's really no need for the lace front. Alva has great coverage. If you want one similar with the lace front, then Emilia by JR would be close as far as style and offers the versatility to wear with bangs, off the face or side swept bang. However, Emilia is twice as much as Alva since it also has a full mono top. I guess it really depends on budget and how you like to wear your wigs. xoxo Marlene
Hi. I purchased a raquel welch wig. It is the "On in Ten" size large color is shaded sand. Its too big for me and the color was off from what i expected. I didn't realize the no return if i had shaken or combed which i did. It still has tags and in box just like it was. Im wanting tobsell it. Do you know of any sites i might be able to sell it on. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Hi, thank you so much for stopping by. You may want to check on FB for buy/sell places. I'd just be careful to which you'd post your wig since there are many scammers out there. My suggestion is to look for a private buy/sell FB where the admins watch out for their members. My other suggestion is to verify your order of On in Ten since that style is not available in large. Just more confused as to which wig to try next! I have 2 Alva’s and my only complaint is not having a mono part. But I have curly wigs as well. Like different styles but haven’t found shades I like in RW

Thanks for making this video, Marlene. It looks like all the grays are rooted...which isn't the way gray hair grows. I assume none of the grays you showed comes non-rooted (that's a question). ??
Hi, thank you so much for visiting. You are correct. Gray hair doesn't grown with dark roots. The grays I wear have a root and considered fashion colors. I wear rooted colors because my brows are black, I like matching my brows to the root, and whenever anyone compliments my hair I always say I'm wearing a wig. However, there are many non-rooted grays in just about all brands. If there's a style you like, the colors are listed with every online retailer. I apologize, but I don't know the color names without researching. I do know that Gabor, Raquel Welch, Tress Allure, Belle Tress, Noriko, Rene of Paris, and Jon Renau offer non-rooted grays on many styles. If there's a specific non-rooted gray you'd like to see, you may want to to go to CrazyWigLady's channel. She has many videos showing the non-rooted blondes and grays. xoxo Marlene

The On in 10 in this video looks shorter than the one you wore in your video wearing, I think it was Bronzed Sable. It looks very different here. Can you tell why?
Hi Kathy, it may be how I styled it. I had fussed with the one in Bronze Sable a bit more by combing it down which may have made it appear longer. I think the dark color also made it appear fuller. I put this one on my head for the first time for this video so what you saw was right out of the box with just a shake and nothing else. I'm guessing that may be the reason why one looked shorter than the other. xoxo Marlene

Hi Patricia, thank you for stopping by. I did a search of all the brands for below the shoulder, bangs, full mono & open wefted. There are 3 styles with all you're searching for: Beach Wave Magic and Breeze by TressAllure and Show Stopper by Raquel Welch. I didn't include them in my video because when I recorded this video the two from TressAllure hadn't launched and I didn't have Show Stopper. I hope this helps. xoxo Marlene

They don't lay flat so I have to wear a bobby pin to hold them down. Oyyyy! I do prefer Raquel Welch and jon reneau but I flinch if they need trimming.
Like...I like the Heidi...but could I get bangs cut into it? I just would rather have a wig with bangs and not take any chances with cutting and regrets
Even though I only trim a little at a time at wig boutiques sooo many wigs just have been ruined including show stopper...trimmed the bangs and its just not good at all

You're very welcome, Patricia. Have you tried spritzing the bangs with some water and using a flat iron to get them to lay flat? There is a video that shows how to trim bangs using the twist method. If bangs on wigs are cut straight across, they tend to appear a bit wonky. I'll link the video here for you. You can trim the bangs on Heidi; however, you may need to steam them into place. I don't like nor do I know how to cut wigs, so I totally get it. The only thing I do is trim the occasional bang. Why do you show the wigs with dark roots. I’m not fond of that and would love to see the same color from root to tip.
Hi Suzy, there are two reasons why I show primarily rooted colors: many of the wigs I review, I purchase; therefore, I try to purchase colors that I can wear if I love the wig and want to keep it; the other reason I didn't show any non-rooted colors in this video is because these colors are not available in rooted and unrooted versions. There are only a handful of colors that some manufacturers offer in both rooted and non-rooted. I hope this helps. xo Marlene

Thank you so much, Suzy. Honestly, I think the reason there are limited number of videos with non-rooted colors is there are really not that many to choose from. If you go through Belle Tress, TressAllure, and Ellen Wille, regardless of the style, you'll see less than a handful of non-rooted for each of these brands. There will be 1 or 2 non-rooted vs 8 rooted colors. I believe Jon Renau and Raquel Welch are two brands that offer more non-rooted blondes depending on style. xoxo Marlene
