Hi LOUIS how do I activate the AEB (Active Engine Braking) for my X Trial 2.0 as I cannot locate it in my car system settings .Your review was spot on as it gives a very true picture of the vehicle as I totally agree with you in all your comments as I am a happy X Trial owner for 8 months .My former car was a CRV G 4 .Great job .With that kind of money for so many features what more can I ask for after comparing it to my former car as the only drawback is it has only DUA airbags. Thanks and looking forward for more of your reviews and by the way have you done the LEXUS RX 200T t review yet ?
Jerry Tan Wa thank you Jerry for your kind words, my videos have always been made to give honest review of a car based on experience instead of pleasing companies. I'm glad you like it. The active engine brake should be accessible through the 'driver assistance' selection, after entering 'driver assistance' it should be together with 'trace control' if I'm not mistaken. Try looking for it and let me know. And yes I have featured the RX 200t F sport before ua-cam.com/video/PdAkBe2a700/v-deo.html . Unless you're referring to the new 2018 RX 300? Which is essentially a rename of the 200t. I will be making arrangements to film the new RX300 and NX 300 and maybe even the RX350L, but it all depends on timing.
Oh thanks a lot just managed to my way after following your guidance to search for the AEB in my car system.Yeap Idid not know that 200t had been renamed to RX 300 ,and will be looking forward for your review soon and HAPPY NEW YEAR as well
Hi Louis as per regarding your ACTIVE ENGINE BRAKE on the X TRIAL I cannot feel this feature as my ACTIVE TRACE CONTROL and ENGINE BRAKE is on in my car settings .When I lift up my feet from the accererator while driving the RPM needle just drop instead of rising as you had stated and I cannot feel the the car breaking or slowing down and just want to know how to activate the AEB in my settings .Thanks
Jerry Tan hey jerry! I missed your comment. Try this, when you're going through a corner without braking (BUT DONT GO SO FAST LA, do it safe at about 50km/h+) lol just for the sake of demo, you should be able to see the rpm increase to slow down your car. Thats just one scenario engine braking would kick in. If you light step on the brake at certain situations it would kick in too. Cause it generally works by measuring your steering input or braking. For example, watch 8:55 of this video, you can slightly see the rpm increase when I turned.
+Ryan McWhole Is it a car that people would still search for? I can request to film it if you want. Since I will be filming the new XV next few days I could try to talk to the people there.
Louis Siah actually I notice that Forester nowadays is everywhere. It even surpass the number of Ford Kuga in a highway eveyday by statistics. I am actually thinking to buy Forester, i drove it before and its really super comfortable and build so solid.
Dah beli.. Stakat ni terbaik.. No rattling sound.. Smooth driving.. Economy fuel consumption
Memang terbaik la kereta ni. It drives better than it looks!
kereta tuan tak ada bunyi dengun angin ka?? kereta saya agak kuat bergantung pada keadaan jalan juga..
Car broking is booming - and largely unregulated.
In term of driving experience, is there a difference between the basic model & the aero edition?
Nope. At least i don't feel a difference.

Hi how does the tire noise compared to sedan like civic or camry?
Hi! Generally the tyre noise is slightly louder than Civic or Camry, but subjective as there are factors like road surface and type of tyre.
Do u have plan to review the Subaru Forester?
