    Same thing happened to small farmers in developed Countries, through taxation and various census operations.
    Small land plots weren't confiscated but they became worthless and the small time farmers gave up because they grew up in a Society that praises money.

    Her historicism about the third world project is skewed (i.e no IMF have loans to Sankara, Castro, Or Cabral...they actually assassinated them because they did not want to abide by "modernization" as a relativist theory of "development").... but her discussion of Agamben's bare-life as the displaced body is amazing xo
