I rarely follow former stars of reality tv - but Todd held a special place to me as one of the first, young gay men who was able to appear, be a central star of a show, be openly gay, and not have that be the focus at all (despite being... hot). His quick descent into drugs and alcohol was very sad to see - and something I've seen so many gay men to succumb to. For awhile I thought it inevitable that he'd pass young - and now? Well, now he seems to have turned things around, doing everything to improve his life and to help others. So happy to hear, and happy to hear he is now happily married!
Todd is so modest it's adorable.. he's like "oh.. how sweet.. no, me? The best? Stop.. thank you.. but no.." when most of us still consider Todd our favorite. He's not even just my favorite winner.. he's probably my favorite player period. To this day. Imo he played the closest thing to a perfect game.
Oh my gosh!!! I can’t believe you’re talking to Todd I remember you talked to him once in HVV this is crazy! I love Survivor China and Todd as a winner!
He might be my favorite winner of survivor. At least top 3. There is no evidence of this, since he hasn't returned, but i think he is one of the most versatile players in the series. I think he would adapt well with pretty much any cast, whether they are a all new players or a group of allstars/returnees.
I would actually like to hear from Laura from Survivor Fans Vs Fav 2! She was one of the most memorable fans. though I will never understand the logic of casting 4 blondes who looked virtually the same.
Same.. in reality he could only ever play against other legends. If he tried to play a season with a bunch of like standard-level players (lol sorry trying to not be mean about it), he'd probably get voted out right away bc everyone knows how good he is at this game. He would have to be going against people like Tony and Sarah, Russell, Tyson, maybe even someone like Spencer.. on the other hand it's hard bc it would probably be a bit harder to trick or manipulate or lie to the better players.. but he would still stand a better chance than playing with less strategic players I think.

That China cast was so iconic definitely cool to see Todd doing so well now
I'd love to hear from Courtney Yates and possibly even Natalie White someday.
YES!!! Courtney hasn't been on since she was with steven during redemption island
Natalie white is the ultimate get for any survivor interview
This is an incredible get for talking with t-bird
Love you Todd. As someone that never saw their father sober, I can relate to your pass struggles Knowing what my dad went through
T-bird is honestly one of the sweetest people in the entire world 😭😍 omg I love her
we need to hear from THE Amanda Kimmel of Survivor: China, Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites, and Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains fame next
That would be a fun one
Iodine if that’s possible, Amanda is off the grid
108 days playing before getting voted out. Pretty impressive
@@Andy-sl9lk she still has the record to this day.
@@jennyk885 and only michelle has a real chance to beat it, though something tells me she won’t be back for a third game

This was fantastic! I'm so glad Todd is doing well. He confirmed my feelings about Dr. Phil. I hope we get to see him play again.
This was incredible. So happy for all that he's come thru and accomplished.

I would actually like to hear from Laura from Survivor Fans Vs Fav 2! She was one of the most memorable fans. though I will never understand the logic of casting 4 blondes who looked virtually the same.

oh my godddddddddddddd Todd is so so so so innately good at Survivor. i would kill to see him play against Sarah Lacina and Tony.

@@reginamachamer821 I think Todd's likability and ability to ingratiate himself with anyone would make up for any failings he had manipulating.
