i am Malaysian and i know about the Malaysia bridge at Paju but never know the history behind, thank you for sharing this good information to all of us. appreciate it, more to come between Malaysia - South Korea ❤
Blimey did the vlog about paju bridge in their content years ago. History never lie and hope the ftiendship between both countries will blossom as it goes.
A sincere gesture in bridging the relationship between the two great nations. May the relationship between SKorea & Malaysia continue to grow further + stronger
Thank you Paju citizen for preserving the bridge so that the symbol of solidarity & friendship still be seen after 70 years & hopefully years to come. Eventhough Malaysia was not that well off back then, but the thought & good intention that matters.
Since S.Korea and Peninsula M'sia are peninsula countries; The M'sia Bridge is really meaningful to strengthen our relationship to the next level!!!🇲🇾❤️🇰🇷
It's funny that the sentiment towards Forest City changes depending on who's the funder. It has a slightly bad reputation before cos it was a Chinese project. Now that Korean fund coming in, everything is rosy now 😅. But really I hope they will manage to make it a successful project, its a pity if the nice golf course is not fully utilized.
@@SbbHangTakPandaiJagaNegeriNi Korea and Malaysia have a long-standing friendship. Although not known to many, shortly after the two countries established diplomatic ties in 1960, Malaysia contributed to the funding for building a bridge named ‘Malaysia Bridge,’ in a village in Gyeonggi Province of Korea, near the border with North Korea. Then in the 1980s, a Korean construction and engineering company built the ‘Penang Bridge’ connecting the island of Penang with Peninsula Malaysia. Korean companies also took part in building Kuala Lumpur's iconic Petronas Twin Towers. Likewise, Korea and Malaysia are close friends who achieved economic and social development together over more than sixty years.
In 1966 malaysia economy above Korea ,at that year malaysia is developing country and Korea was poor country but now malaysia still developing country while Korea developed country, Korea economy above malaysia now
Would help if your country stopped your bumiputera policy and empowering useless people. Too much religion makes people useless. Too much religion in government makes a country useless. The miracle is that you have oil, but your country is still somehow useless.
Me as Malaysian thanks to Blimey channel who the first youtuber i think explore (did the vlog) the info about this bridge to us when their viewer request it..both of them including us were surprised about it😊 Hopefully korean ppl pls not discriminate our ppl who lives in S.Korea whether they are students or workers in any company over there..
don't listen to other Malaysian people who think if a person looks at you the wrong way they consider it discrimination. They interpret everything as discrimination . All countries have good people and bad people.
I have to salute the SK government and people . They' re very much in preserving the historic & cultural assets for the future generation. We learn from history .. and its very important in nation building. Thats one of the reason why SK is much more progressive than other country.
My uncle, who was a architect, actually visited Seoul in the early 1960s, just a few years after the Korean War. He went with a group of Chinese Malaysian businessmen and professionals who had been invited by the Seoul government seeking for Malaysian investment. He told me that when they reached Seoul, they were shocked at its bombed out state and ruined buildings. Reconstruction was still ongoing then. My uncle and his colleagues had survived the Japanese occupation of Malaya and thought they knew something about war. However, he said that what they went through paled into insignificance as to what they saw in Seoul, especially even after some years after the Korean War. It is a tribute to the Koreans that they can overcome such destruction to be what they are today. Oh, I'm not sure how many Koreans know this but during the Korean War, Malaya had an economic boom. At that time, Malaya was the largest rubber producer in the world, and rubber was still then the main component of tyres. Modern tyres are made with a mixture of synthetic and natural rubber. As the Korean War progressed, there was a worldwide demand for rubber fueled by the military vehicles used by the US in the Korean War. The price of raw rubber went up through the roof, and rubber producers in Malaya experienced a boom. However, after the war, rubber prices went down again.

I wish SK would not be working with the US to intimidate N Korea and China Instead being honest and work with South East Asia and stopped talking about Communism

And now South Korea is way more advanced than Malaysia. Perhaps we Malaysians can learn a thing or two from them
We should learn from them in term of technology that can improve Malaysian life 👍🏻
Learn corruption,no penunggang agama
Can learn from South Korean how to support and sustain local creative industry, especially in music and filming.
