You have quickly became my favourite reviewer of iems, the way you talk about every aspect is very detailing, not bland and coherent. I have many iems and watching your reviews of them(like this one) feels very correct to me. It's kinda hard for me to agree with everything soundwise with other reviewers, but you are the one I agree the most. Keep up with the good work!

I really do appreciate your detailed reviews. Your style makes me think new gen Akros (and that's a compliment). I enjoy your council of ladies segment. My tip to my fellow T10 users, get the divinus velvet narrow bore and use the biggest size. You basically are letting the arrti-t10 "sit" in your ear instead of inserting them. Solves all the fitment problem. If you want insertion, dunu s&s is the eartip you're looking for.

@@AtriGadhvi I haven't heard the Michael Bruce Glamdring Modded S12 personally, but I have heard from people who have tried both, that the S08 is very similar to Michael Bruce S12 mod. Your planar collection is very similar to mine haha. I'm waiting for my MP143 to come in as well. The S08 is the darkest and warmest planar I have tried, but I hear that the MP143 with the red nozzles is even darker, to the point where you start to lose some details. If you have the MP143 coming in, I would stick to that one, since they're very similar according to other reviews. But I won't know for sure until it comes in!

Thank you Omar for finally reviewing the Artti T10. I love my T10 however, sadly, they are somewhat plagued with QC issues. When they work as designed, they sound great, just as you outlined in your review. I'm on my third T10 set due to this issue, thankfully Amazon has a pretty good 30-day return policy. I agree with pretty much everything you said about the sound. Imo, I think it rivals hybrid(DD/BA) sets in my collection(KZ ZS10 PRO, KZ ZAX, CKLVX CK D41 and maybe to a lesser extent the Simgot SM4) and I prefer it to the Letshuoer S12 2024 even though the latter scales a bit better with more power.
Fitment can also be an issue as you pointed out. My personal solution was to use Final E eartips at first but now I'm using Divinus Velvet standard bore tips. I get a better fit and better sound.
I'm hoping this third time will be the charm and they'll last longer 🙏🏼

If you look at cables, shells and drivers it would appear Letshuoer has Artti as a stealth sub brand, Tanchjim has Simgot and Moondrop has Truthear. I seems unlikely all three larger companies would allow their OEM manufacturers to supply identical cables to competitors. Also the T10 cable is identical to Timmy's Letshuoer Gallileo Collab.

Quite a testament to how good of a performer & great value T10 still is when it's still being referenced even after being more than a year old now whenever a new planar at the affordable side of the spectrum comes out; might not be a looker but has the chops to be up there alongside S12 & MP145.
Can't wait for PRX and maybe a little comparo with a little forgotten but very much loved set in the PR1 Pro; that thing might be somewhat old but it still maintains a decent price premium even over PR2, PR3, & even the upcoming PRX(at least from where I reside) & damn does it still boogy & isn't being completely outclassed by my S12 2024(and responds a tiny bit better to EQ at least to my personal preference).

    • @AudioAmigoReviews
      @AudioAmigoReviews  4 місяці тому

I listened to the PR1 Pro a few times. A friend had one and I borrowed it for a bit. I can totally see why people love it, it’s detailed and sparkly and represents the way a planar can do treble details very well.
For some reason, Ipersonally didn’t vibe with it very well. The treble was just unnatural sounding to me. Maybe if the get cheap enough I’ll pick one up for myself and try it again. But just because something isn’t for me, doesn’t mean it can’t be amazing for someone else. :) I’m happy you found a great planar that works for you.

I promised myself to just stick to the pure driver configs (a 1DD in EW200, 1Planar in S12 2024, & 1full-range BA in MagicOne) as end goal lineup but when a really good deal on a really good set comes up.........yeah. Still waiting for the right moment(and funds) for MagicOne cuz someone can't get help themselves getting 2 more planars(Luna & PR1 Pro), 1 2DD(Castor Balanced), 1 2+4 hybrid(Rhapsody), & a dongle dac(cda m1p) instead 🙃

They reduce the 2k peak which let's the bass shine and keeping all the magic in place. Didn't matter how much I cranked the volume, sounded beautiful. I use a $5 amp from Ali and the sound is night and day than just a dac. I was listening to them without the amp and they sounded exactly like the EDX PRO X. @@UFO-Audio Planar Drivers also take EQ extremely well. They’re my favorite type of driver because they’re like a halfway point between electrostatics and dynamics.
Benefits of both with fewer drawbacks. They come with their own problems (some tunings make them sound very piercing/sharp/fatiguing) but I personally would take a single planar over a single DD any day.
You might lack some of that DD Bass texture (subwoofers are all DDs for a reason) but as I keep saying: with Planars you can boost the Mid-Bass a lot more without impacting the Mids.
If you wanna try a planar and want the “traditional” planar V-shaped tuning, the T10 is an amazing choice.
If you want something warmer, hold on a little longer. The S08 is still the king, but I’m hoping that some budget sets come along that give us that great S08 flavor for less.

BUDGET planer alert - I just got the LAfitear Lv 1, 10mm DD + 6mm planar- these are wild! Paid $17 after coupons and tax. They were literally delivered a few hours ago and I gotta share. Build is plastic, chonki-ish shell. Cable is pretty decent for price, tips veil the sound so I'm using KBear 07. I haven't tip rolled to wide bore yet as I'm enjoying the sound with the 07s. I need a new battery for my LG so for now I have them hooked up to a $1 bt adapter and a $5 amp on my S21. Both of these run warm and this set is warm. I've been hesitant on buying this brand, Def not gonna vouch for QC. My set looked like a returned set that was missing the plastic and stock metal nozzle filter. I've messaged seller. But how do they sound already?!
UNIQUE! These are not boring, not neutral, not balanced, lol. The mids are quite recessed and there is a huge dip in the 5-8k region. What's left is a thick punchy bass, crazy Soundstage, layering and details. There is sparkle but it is warm sparkle. It's hard to explain. Clearly there are details missing from the frequencies that are suppressed but I don't miss them. It's weird. The sound is so different that it probably should be bad but it is super fun, albeit dark and oddly addicting. Im sure EQ could get these more natural and balanced sounding if that's what you want. But if you're craving something different, these are that. If you're a basshead that always misses out on details becuase the bass comes first, here you get both. No fatigue, no shoutiness. My modding skills are pretty good but still elementary so I'm not sure how to bring up those mids w/o EQ or if I even want to. One of the reviews said that aging brought up the mids. Not sure I believe in aging but I'm open minded so only time will tell. Any other weirdos out there willing to try these out?

I DO have a used DaVinci on the way, and I hope to eventually pick up a DUSK or KiwiEars KE4. I’d like to try out more meta IEMs and make a video on them, but right now I don’t have enough data to make a real choice of which I prefer. I do really like the Hexa and Fan 3 though.
Sorry for the sorta non-answer, I honestly just don’t know yet. :)

@@johngamer7 I have tried the S12 2024. My version seems to be a little bit different from the one other people have. I’ll address that in my upcoming Letshuoer video.
But essentially. The S12 2024 is a limited edition slightly tweaked version of the S12 Pro. Most reviewers say it sounds slightly better than the S12 Pro.
The problem is that it costs $70 more than the S12 Pro… and I don’t think it’s good value compared to the S12 Pro.
Compared to the T10, they’re going for slightly different sounds. The T10 is more analogous to the S12 OG rather than the S12 Pro. That said though, at the end of the day they’re all using the same driver.

If you have the S-12 Pro. Go EW300, the two nozzles are very different and you might dig the different sounds.
If you don’t have the S-12 Pro and just the Hexa, then go with the T-10 if you want a more V-shaped sound, and go with the EW300 if you want something warmer or that gives you 2 tunings.

    • @AudioAmigoReviews
      @AudioAmigoReviews  4 місяці тому +4

@@pierce2049 the planar on the EW300 is an annular planar, meaning it’s not a “true” planar, and it’s also not “full range” meaning it doesn’t play the full range of frequencies. 6mm annular planars like the one in the EW300 and the May typically only work on frequencies from 6-8KHz and above.
The EW300 and the T10 are going for different sounds.
EW300 has more bass, slightly “warmed up” mids, and an overall darker, warmer tonality compared to the T10.
The T10 is more V-shaped. So you still get boosted bass (not as much as on the EW300), but you also get that vocal forward sound that helps vocals stand out a bit.
It depends on what mood I’m in, but if I had to choose between them…
The EW300 are more comfortable and come with a second nozzle to let you access a 2nd type of sound. So if it was my first and only IEM, I would go for the EW300.
If I already had an IEM or two, and wanted to try a big, full range planar and experience the driver tech, I’d go with the T10.
I can see people who prefer electronic music or Hip-Hop/Rap would take the EW300 over the T10.
But people who prefer female vocals or more orchestral/instrumental tracks would prefer the T10
It depends on your library which would be better.
My library is eclectic and all over the place, and I feel like the T10 is a bit more balanced, so I’d probably take that one. Just for the orchestral and operatic stuff. And the J-Pop. Can’t forget the J-Pop. :)

All three are about equal in terms of driver quality and driver technicalities. In terms of tuning, the S12 2024 will have more bass than the T10 or the SM4. The SM4 will have the most energy in the Upper mids, but it also has the Harman Mid-bass tuck that can make the lower mids sound "thin" or "Flat"
I personally think the SM4 and most other Harman tuned sets are a little thin in the lower mids, but I know others really like that mid-bass tuck.
S12 2024- Warmest of the 3, most mid-bass. In my opinion, it's bad value because it's essentially a SLIGHTLY tweaked S12 Pro for $200.
Artti T10- More mid-bass than the SM4, but less than the S12 Pro/2024. Most Vocal Forward of the Three, Best Value of the Three.
Supermix 4- Great sub-bass, tucked mid-bass. Follows harman curve very well. A little bit bright for some people, and has a slight metallic timbre in the treble thanks to the PZT tweeter.

@@MariaAudioChick I can see people preferring the S12 2024 over the S15. It’s a much more exciting sound signature.
I personally still prefer the S15 over the S12 2024. It’s midrange is just so gorgeous and smooth and detailed, and like the S08, it gives you the ability to turn it up without fear of fatigue.
And it’s just as detailed as the 2024 in my opinion.
Now. Keep in mind that my particular 2024 unit is a bit different from many other reviewers.
I’ll address this in my Letshuoer planar video coming later this week.
But I personally generally prefer the S08/S15 sound signature over the S12Pro/S12 2024 signature.
That said. I COMPLETELY get people who prefer it the other way around. :)

@@AudioAmigoReviews I'd probably enjoy those sets but until I get more funds, I'll be over here modding my budget sets hahah. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on your preferences 👍

I like the look. But, it’s uncomfortable for me.😂

Same for my wife. She likes the S12 and this, but always goes for the S12 because it actually stays in her ears.

i'm starting to thing i have really bad taste. no one likes the way t10s look and I love it. I just have no need for them but I will get them if they get discounted

I know a few folks IRL who genuinely like the look! So you’re not alone! :)
They def grew on me. And I don’t find them ugly, but like I told someone else, I think they’re the least attractive looking of all my planar IEMs
