    Oil filter cover: 10 N-m, (7.2 lb-ft)
    Drain bolt: 20 N-m (14 lb-ft)

    I advise you to use the 7100 series.
    Motul 7100 10w40 ESTER.
    The oil for your motorcycle requires 100% synthetics.
    This is Euro 4 and not Euro 3

      yamaha says in the manual to use yamalube which is semi synthetic. why synthetic is better?

    • @mariorokavec1511
      @mariorokavec1511 2 роки тому +1

      @@chrisw4215 Yamalube has no advanced oils. see the table regarding API standards and see yamalube API standard flag.
      Yamaha knows that the oil they have will not damage the engine and that the engine will work very nicely and that is why they recommend it, they want to make money and that is it.
      Of course, all this does not mean that we have to pour such outdated oils, especially since we are talking about Euro 4 and euro 5 generators.
      API: SN is the right option.
      On top of that, the Motul 7100 has ESTER additives that reduce friction inside the cylinder.

    • @mariorokavec1511
