With their fast start and stop they save a lot of minutes when they start the new schedule in september 2024, local service will take 75 minutes (instead of 100)

I was on 8312 the other day day service to Sacramento ca stopped at Martinez + track maintenance week

take offs are very fast on these trains. Some of them are almost going full speed by the time they fully pass when taking off from a stop.
