I stated my first Bullet Journal this year! Now that I’ve seen this work of art I have some great ideas for February GREAT JOB!
I've turned my grid spacing into a portable object. Cut a page from the back of the journal and make it about the size of a bookmark. No more counting dots. Just line it up like a ruler and mark off your lines 😊

My bullet journal finally arrived, and while I waited I was researching like crazy on set ups, how tos, just general page types. And I will have to say that this video* has to be my favorite, hands down, every time. It has pages that *make sense*, especially as another fellow artist. I'm still unsure of what all I will or will not need, but I'm sure everyone's very first journal begins this way, and evolves over time.
This video really helped me organize my thoughts in planning what pages I should put down. So thank you 🙂 ♥

My most exciting part of 2023 is that I'm having my first child in May!! It's going to be so mad and definitely will need a lot of planning and organisation! So I'm hoping I get to keep this year up with the max organisation I could get and really get my shit together haha

I love watching other people set up their bujos with all the art and decorations, but for me personally I'm trying the original Ryder method, one pen and a (dotted) notebook. I haven't used any of my pre-set up fancy spreads for months, so starting over fresh and simple :)

With my bullet journal last year, I was really beating myself up because i didn’t use rulers for my lines so they would be wobbly. Watching this video actually made me really excited to start a new one this year, and maybe seeing how you don’t use a ruler either would make me feel better about myself 😂 beautiful work!

Idk if you even care to know but I had the pleasure of doing a project on Van Gogh in my middle school years.. He ended up being my favorite artist so I feel I must tell you that his last name is pronounced Haugh! Most of us say it wrong but in case you have to mention it again, you’ll know. 🤍

You are really good at this. :) How often do you look/write in your journal? I usually write down stuff in the first few months and then forget about it for a few months.
i use mine literally every day! it takes some practice and you don’t have to use yours every day. bullet journaling is supposed to fit your personal lifestyle! it’s not one size fits all so just make it work for you 💕

i totally feel u w the aesthetic name thing! my name is Akira && i think the k makes it look “ugly”, it sounds pretty, but the k idk, nothing against k, Q q, Y y, W w, F f, are also kinda “ugly” or unaesthetic imo 😭 idk my friend thinks it’s weird && has no idea what i’m talking abt 😭😭

I know it's a bit late now, but 2023 was my first year bullet journaling. This meant that I had the real motivation to keep ging, but on the other hand, a lot of mistakes were made and my spreads were very chaotic. I came here to look for inspiration and guidance to really enhance my journaling skills, and you gave me everything I needed. Thank you so much for your amazing video, it has really helped! One question, what are your markers and fineliners called/where did you get them?

I'm thinking of moving from an Amelia Lane Paper Life Designer to a Hobonichi Techo Cousin for 2024 just because i want to find an order and spread that works for me! I found this just in time!! Now, I don't know if you've said this before but what pencil do you use for sketching everything? I've found that the ones I've usded get smooshed under the marker's inks!
