    Stirred Tiki (I call them "Tropical") is a great idea for a series!
    I am excited to try this drink.
    An idea for the next video in the series: try the "Improved Rum Cocktail" from Tropical Standard which is the classic 19th century Improved Whisky Cocktail but with passionfruit syrup and rum sitting center stage.

    This sounds wonderful! I guess I have to go bitters shopping this weekend.
    I'd love for you to dive into less sugary tiki drinks. I've been doing a lot of work making allulose based orgeats falernum, and the like, but I've recently been craving cocktails that are less sweet.

      @@fxeditor1138 by definition most tiki drinks are def on the sweeter side but don’t you worry, Iv been doing a lot of research on how to add flavor but not necessarily add sugar at the same time.

    Nice one!
    The scents/garnish sprays are a game changer. Do you ever use the lime? I found lime to be a bit too much as traditional lime peel usually contains very minimal oils. I'm very into the grapefruit, lemon, and orange though.

    • @MixingUpTiki
      @MixingUpTiki  Місяць тому

      Yea I have a lime one. It’s funny though, to replicate the scent of a lime shell in a Mai tai you only need like half a spritz. It’s very strong.
