of former portuguese colony goa they have shown christian wedding dress but hindu wedding dress in goa are quite familiar with that of maharashtra and so their languages and their accent is similar
Maybe I'm dumb, but the only common thing I found between a traditional odia bride and 12:19, are the crown and the shankha(bangles/choodi). In Sambalpuri wedding people wear red costume, which have evoluted and fused with other colours as well mostly, orange, green, blue etc. 12:37, 1st one looks like shreya ghoshal
I love the video u reacted to cuz u can see and know the States of india and see bridal makeup too right and i am a bengali and in the bengali bridal makeup it is not a bindi it is like a design we do with something i don't know what it is actually
your really very diligent tocollect this things yeah different tradition and styles as it is im curious gonna watch it yeaheveryaccessories for them maybe has a meaning rightepecially on thedesigns
To all those saying that Assam wasnt represented properly, then for yr information, in some parts of Assam, it's worn, it's not necessary to be an intercaste marriage... It's worn in some parts of lower Assam I'm an Assamese myself, so don't think I'm just blabbering
Sorry but the Assam one wasn't correct where the bride and groom were wearing that thing on head . We don't wear things like that . Maybe it's an inter-caste marriage between Assamese and Bengali . Assamese people don't wear that thing . And burning popped rice is not a Assamese ritual , this ritual is performed by the non-tribals (Aryans) . Tribal people don't perform rituals like this .
First of all, that crown is worn in some parts of lower Assam, and secondly, what do u mean? U mean to say ppl.likr us who r born in Assam who's mother tongue is Assamese, we aren't Assamese ppl bc we r not tribals? What do u actually mean for god's sake???
@@parishmita.b.kashyap Oh pls don't act like you don't know. The tribal people are the true Assamese Indigenous people of Assam. Do you know that the Bamuns , Kalitas, etc. adopted the Assamese culture ? Bihu was a festival only celebrated in Upper Assam which was introduced by the Ahoms and celebrated by the tribals. Later the Lower Assam people and basically the Aryans adopted it. And till this day they be acting like they r the indigenous people of Assam instead of the tribals. Today when one thinks of Assam they only think that Assam is filled with Aryans, Bangladeshis etc. instead of the tribals which is misleading .
@@Nangkoi45 Ya , I'm from Upper Assam and it was so shocking for me to see people saying Assamese are Bengalis/Aryans just becoz of that headdress which isn't even in our culture to wear .

They r so ignorant, they showed a Freaking Bengali wedding in Assamese attire, I guess they mixed but still wtf is that?? They didn't even showed a real Assamese Wedding and jewellery. And they didn't even showed a Tai Ahom, Boro, etc. Weddings dresses.

that accessories are made by pure gold in hindu culture gold is the very important part of every marriage it is the symbol of purity
Christian doesn't mean modern. European Gown dress is many hundreds years old Just like Indian Saree. Veils r part of Saree.
of former portuguese colony goa they have shown christian wedding dress but hindu wedding dress in goa are quite familiar with that of maharashtra and so their languages and their accent is similar
Maharashtrian saree should have shown in full there's no use of showing half because it will not give idea what exactly it is
All are real gold
