Howdy Mr. Spiewak! Hope all is well. You missed the most important boat in the San Diego Maritime Museum. I am a crewmember of the steam yacht Medea, an original 1904. My job is to keep the wood on the ship wiped down and polished. I have a long way to go! Take care!

Another great ship is a duplicate of a masterpiece motion picture "Master and Commander" and a scene in Pirates of the Caribbean ==> HMS Surprise, a 1970 replica of a Royal Navy frigate. The Californian has a famous movie actress attached at the front. The San Salvador is a replica of Juan Carrillo's discovery of San Diego in 1542. If you like, I will give you a free tour of the San Diego Maritime Museum. Preach the Peace!
