It's so great that nobody from the Austin & Ally cast seems to resent or regret the show to much of a degree. It's genuinely a fun show and the music still holds up.
I think because they where all more mature than the average Disney casting age

austin and ally will forever be a show that i will always speak so positive about. even to this day, i still listen to the soundtrack because of how good it is.
Austin and Ally is one of the most underrated Disney Shows ever. Its easily one of the best that still "holds up" as you age, the comedy still mostly hits even though im 22 now
Kids aren’t dumb. The shift in content being directed from “families” to “just kids” is really upsetting to see. Kids can understand way more then the flashing colors and loud noises that the algorithm thinks they do

Ive always loved how 2000s shows on disney and nick were literally kinda made for you to be able to watch them still for nostalgia, but also while you "grew" up. Like whether its the humor still, or "adult jokes", they are still so enjoyable to watch.
I miss that era so much. Icarly and Austin and ally was the last good shows for me to watch in my opinion. After that I stopped watching Disney channel and Nickelodeon.
I miss Sunday nights in the 2010’s when I would watch Austin & Ally for an hour🥺and I’m so glad they’re all a big family still❤️

I loved Austin and Ally so much! I love that the cast still hangs out every once in a while too. It just was all so wholesome ❤ also what started my love for Ross since the day it aired!! I remember watching it with my mom that first day 😆
I watched Austin and Ally with my nieces and nephews and my kids and I really enjoyed it! It was nice to have something on that a parent could enjoy right along with the kids. Same for Teen Beach Movie!
As someone who was a kid when this show was airing that's absolutely right. Entertaining enough for adults in the kitchen doing other things, and yet the kids were glued to it as well.
I was looking at Austin Moon's Spotify page the other day, and it's funny because there's a song that Ross is featured on by Riker, his brother, called Sex on the Beach, and Spotify featured Austin Moon on that song rather than Ross Lynch. That got a good laugh out of me.

I was like 7 or 8 when I watched austin and ally it was my childhood.😭 even to this day Id watch it again no matter how older i get. I remember when it was new and coming soon oh the memories :( ross lynch you saved disney during those years. Last good show there ever was after everything else had ended.

It's always fun to hear the actors who played in your favorite show, also still love the show and loved working on it. Cus nothing stings more than one of the poeple shitting on it, and then whenever you go back to watching it, the only thing you can think about is how much they hate making the episodes. The show was amazing, it's for multiple age ranges, and the music went hard as fuck.

austin & ally was my favorite disney show back then and i strongly agree with everything they said here. that was also a really good discussion on how we consume media nowadays, makes you reflect on how much the world has changed in a lot of aspects. and i know every generation thinks their time was the best one but the early 2000s were really the golden years i feel like. the analogical and digital world were so well balanced then, but nowadays things feel so empty and heartless. contents just come and go so fast that kids and adults dont even have the chance to feel attached to anything, its truly sad imo..

Yeah I think I personally would agree that the last shows I watched and followed on Disney Channel were Austin and Ally, Liv and Maddie and Andi Mack. As well as maybe KC. undercover and Soy Luna but yk that was in my country I think Europe and South America know them (telenovelas). They (telenovelas) didn't air on Disney Channel US.

An Austin and Ally reboot would be pretty cool. This might be an unpopular take, but I’d also like a show focusing on their kids and seeing them grow up as well. I guess I’m just one of those people who like watching the original character’s children have their own show as well lol.

Wow. I’ve probably watched every Carly episode and it’s not bc of streaming. That’s so crazy to think about. I either watch it with the rest of the kids when it premiered or when it replays. But it was all on a tv screen. No streaming or nothing. And even without rewatching many episodes I still remember certain things that were first formed as memories in my child brain. Now I’m a young adult

@@mahima6916 i would argue its been popular for just over 10 years because that was 2013/2014 and apple music didn't release until 2015 which they only did after noticing Spotify's success but downsides too and so aimed to counter them
