@@Kazilikaya This is my thinking as well. We all love Martin Gore, and rightfully so, but the Depeche Mode we love til this day wouldn’t exist without Alan Wilder’s artistic contribution. He helped shape DM’s musical direction for the better.
With out a doubt Alan wilder leaving D.M.was a massive blow.i don't think he was a better writer than martin.but I love every single song that Alan wrote while he was with them.work hard written my Martin and Alan was simplicity.alan wrote the b-sides for few years and also songs for a couple of albums.Fools.if you want.landscape is changing.two minute warning.in your memory.pure electronic synth at its best.and I also believe that from 1982 to 1996 was D.M.best era for music.when Alan left there music changed but saying that they are still the best synth pop group ever and my all time favourite group
I had a little chuckle today when this came on. A bunch of barely out of their teens, wearing torn fishnets and lipstick poncing about the plight of the working man in a time when the working man was on strike and the establishment doing their best to dismantle any form of manufacturing, construction and mining in favour of a service economy with super strict workplace safety laws and index linked award wages.
It's a long way to the top, if you wanna rock and roll. That's "a common message from two of my favorite bands". And I think they're right. Even if "what you forever wanted" might "suddenly happen".

Alan was great in creating music when Martin was writing poetry words. This is why albums from that period are so good.
DM truly innovative and social critical album.
Alan Wilder is always works hard!
The very first "real' industrial track !!!!
If you mean the first for Depeche Mode, sure, ok. If you mean in general though, my eyes couldn't roll any harder.
I used to listen this song when I was teen.

Eines der besten 80er Alben von Depeche Mode und bestes Lied auf diesen Album.40 Jahre DM !👍
Ist nur gar nicht auf dem Album. Ist eine B-Seite der Everything Counts Single.
Why has this never been performed live? Great song..
This is Alan Wilder piece of work.
