- Here are all the movie references & fond memories of past Netherrealm games that I’ve come across with the most recent Mortal Kombat 11 character to arrive - The Clown Prince of Crime, the JOKER himself.
As expected there will clips with Joaquin Phoenix ( Joker 2019 ), Heath Ledger ( Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight ) & Jack Nicholson ( Tim Burton’s Batman ) embodying the role of the Joker. There will also be some strange movies lines that pop up from The Batman Animated Series along with an iconic line from Robocop himself. Enjoy.

Yeah I didn't really see the resemblence to the clip he showed afterwards, for me I thought it'd be a reference to the dark Knight scene where joker keeps Harvey and the woman (can't remember her name for sure) and makes batman choose one

I think the last one with The Joker mirror match is not only reference for Injustice 3 but a reference to there being 3 Jokers like in the comics
It was recently confirmed to be both.
Thing is, the Three Jokers comic was made later in October 2020. Joker was released to MK11 in January

I love how this feels like someone made the video with only seeing the dark knight trilogy, and then saying they know everything about batman.

Remember: The scene where Heath is supposed to use his remote to blow things up went botched. It was his sudden recoiling expression that made the director leave that failed attempt in. It just fit Joker more than a clean take

Epcar definitely improved his joker voice from MK vs DC. It was too deep in that game, but ever since Injustice, he's become my favorite voice for him

Richard Epcar is one of the best of the oldies. From Batou, Daisuke Jigen, to Joseph Joestar.

And probably a little of Sonya's MKX ending where Kano made her choose between Jax and Cassie.

Ha ha ha, Joker is the spiciest reference lord for Mortal Kombat. MK vs DC may be a lousy MK game, but it is worth watching story mode to hear Richard Epcar make that Star Trek reference. Nice catches with the live-action Joker references with the poses and the lines, especially "Never rub another man's rhubarb!" I wouldn't have caught that.

For fact that one from 4:32 was taking from Batman comic: The Man Who Laughs, also that comic is one of comics that mostly inspired The Dark Knight 2008 film along with The Killing Joke, The Long Halloween, Year One, The Joker's Five-Way Revenge, Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth and the first two issues from Batman comics.
