I went Sunday, and got there about 09:20. car park very busy then as well. I was in by 090:40 and went straight to MT3 and managed to get a look at MK station - brilliant. your video of James Street from the balcony was great, not often you see a full overhead view of a layout - very well done to you and your cameraman! Cheers.
The cameraman is very talented, I think the most shocking moment for me was looking down the fiddle yard of MT3, I couldn't see the end! Take Care Rich
Hi , great video, and as a Belgian British train collector I didn't have the chance to go to the great Electric train show, so thank you very much giving us an idea what was there to see. So thank you very much for this overview. Best regards, Danny
Lovely video - thank you! I turned up at midday, (Sunday), but car parks completely full. Drove around and parked elsewhere and walked to the arena (no big deal). However, they were queuing round the block to get in, so walked back to the car and called it a day! Did get some sightseeing in on EWR and HS2, and visited Quainton for a few hours, so salvaged the day. Show needs a far bigger venue with parking. It looks crowded beyond belief. Anyway, was good to see some of what I missed! 👍
Im really glad the video helped in some way, theres plenty of HS2 action around the area thats for sure, agreed, maybe next year they may have a larger venue on offer? i really feel for everyone that turned away today, Cheers Rich
Saturday was every bit as bad! I was daft and didn't book advance tickets, so queued an hour to get in, by which time, every layout and stand was utterly rammed. Making tracks was 3 people deep, and I am not tall, so saw nothing after a 15 minute wait for a space. I left after just an hour and a half, so stressed by the crowds, the backpacks in my face and the queues. I will never return. I was planning to go to Warley for the first time this year, but I don't think I can face it after Milton Keynes GETS.
I am hoping to go to Warley, I figure there wont be a parking issue, I think I shall get advanced tickets again but yes being too busy can be awkward at these things, Cheers Rich
very good video and some good lay outs to see, also just to say why did not use MK Bowl as a overflow car park as it was used on saturday for free parking but was full by dinner time.
Not sure, I really think it just wasn't anticipated to be as popular as it was this year, good to see a lot of train enthusiasts in one place, now we just need to find a space big enough for all of us to fit into! Cheers Rich
Sunday - absolutely terrible organisation at a terrible venue. Never again will I try to visit one of their shows, 100 mile journey to be turned away, no car parking available and no more visitors allowed. Take the show to a decent venue for Gawd's sake.
Hi Rich! Sorry to have missed you at the show! I'd have loved to have had a chat! I was there on both days, and got a taxi from the hotel on Saturday, but drove in on Sunday! The queues were enormous on both days! Looking at the other comments it seems that parking was a problem on Sunday! I think I must have been lucky, as I got there at about 9.15am and the marshals were pointing out the few remaining places! Did you go to the 11am UA-cam meet on Saturday? I was there, but obviously didn't see you! Lol! It was a great show, and I think you managed to film a couple of layouts I missed - so thanks for that! All the best, Ian.
ah I couldn't get to the youtuber meet Ian, I'm hoping to go to Warley, not set in stone just yet as I'm waiting for conformation of my cameraman being available! I'm so posh haha..im really not🤣 Yes there was so many people, it was kind of odd to see some of the youtubers walking about on the day really, we shall meet one day I am sure of it! Take care mate, Rich
Was at the show myself - would have loved to have met you in person! Did you go to the UA-cam meet at 11 - if you did then our paths crossed😅 cheers Euan
hi bud i got to the show for 10 couldnt park up and the queues was crazy so we just turned round and came home but seeing how busy inside i would have found it too much to get round on my scooter
Ah noo, they were honouring Saturday ticket holders on the Sunday, thats really unfortunate, i hope the video gives an idea of the layouts that were on offer on the day for you? There are some other shows happening later in the year, not sure yet if i will be at any of them mind, either way if we bump into each other come say hello 👍👍
@@ThisWayWorksTWW it was today when we went my biggest regret is not meeting youtubers as i had lots of stickers and channel keyrings to give out and also had 4 packs of oo guage 40ft containers to give away i hope to meet you some day bud

@@dougbull3289 I shall do a little video on it in the future, I used a variety of n gauge parts and 3d printed pieces on the chassis. Nice video and some lovely layouts there. I couldn't make it back to the UK for this one, but might try for Warley if I can.

I was there today All layouts were surrounded about 3 bodys deep.
Last few hours got to have a better look at things, But yes quite busy indeed.
