    I can tell you as a father of 5 with my ex-wife, those little opportunities to listen in on conversations like that, however innocuous and simple they might seem, are one of the greatest blessings of being a parent and spouse. You clearly have your priorities in order, Patrick, and it humbles us to see how open you are about it. I have so much respect for someone with such a great heart and spirit. Keep treasuring those little moments because they fly by so quickly. All 5 of mine are grown adults living their lives now, and opportunities like that are fleeting and very far between these days. Respect, señor. Cazad0r75.

    It is not 100% because all of the book moves are not best moves by engine, they could be second best or so...But by the book.

      It says a lot about his approach to the game that Patrick has been on this "journey to 2000" for more than a year and still doesn't know what book move means.

    It's not going to be never a 100% game in that tricky line. Your Qg4 move is a book move, but obviously not the best one. That line had been refuted years ago.

    Wow. This line seems to always be bad for black. I remember playing this line ONCE against the vienna .. NEVER AGAIN! And I made the right move and took with the queen. I just shit the bed after that. xD WELL DONE, PATRICK!

      It can be good for black if you realise that taking on f2 is a trap.

      Makes me think there isn't much difference btwn 1000 and 1300 fr fr.

      @danielward7008 taking on f2 is actually alright, but you need to know lots of theory and only moves. It is very tricky

      @@MrDanielfff777 Kf8 is the correct response to Qg4. Forget taking on f2 and stamp out white's attack.

    Great channel. One thing though. The hat, it goes the other way. I know because I read the instructions!

    Does the black queen get trapped if takes f2?

    Nice. To be honest you know a lot of these openings better than me. I just try to play common sense moves.
    Your comment about 100% accuracy is a good one. Is a great move more accurate than a great move? That doesn't seem to make sense.
    But is a brilliant move more accurate than a great move? Maybe when you played your great move there was a better (brilliant) move?

      King f1 is more accurate than King d1 at a higher depth. I think that's why it is not 100 % accuracy

    Not all book moves are 100% accurate.

  • @william_shakespeare
    @william_shakespeare 3 місяці тому

    Being a book move doesn't necessarily mean it's the most accurate move according to the engine. It just means that theory has been established on it and it's proven to be a balanced opening. That's why you didn't get 100%

    I'm 900 rated and to me it seems unbelievable that a 1,370 rate player could lose like that. Embarrassing.

      Some openings are very trappy and this is one. I have seen much higher rated players lose to this line.

      900??? Haha how could you be so bad

    • @MrDanielfff777
      @MrDanielfff777 3 місяці тому

      People are more likely to blunder when they do not know theory of the opening they're playing.
