    This helicopter is so easy to fly. It is just amazing. Solid metal parts. Direct drive motor with a special nut on the bottom that breaks when you crash to protect the head and other components from breaking.
    Outdoor and indoor
    Power monitoring allows auto return and landing when the battery is low
    Vision system detects the ground and can keep the helicopter in one place indoors and out.
    Auto return and one switch to return to home and land.
    Omnidirectional GPS keeps the helicopter stable and flying level when you let off the sticks. Heli can auto invert and remain stable.
    With the phone app you can adjust headspeed, trim the heli, calibrate the compass, set inverted mode to simple or expert.
    Three modes
    Stable mode - Helicopter flies stably which is suitable for the beginner.
    Smart acrobatics - A stable mode which will invert the heli with flips or rolls. You can practice your upside down orientation with a much reduced chance of crashing.
    Manual mode - The helicopter has strong power and can do fully violent flight.
    Downward vision system can keep the heli stable indoors and out without GPS lock.
    Sensitive metal servos are quick and allows for not having to adjust swashplate and pitch.
    Intelligent flight contoller keeps the heli stable and allows for smart acrobatics.
    High strength metal frame
    Aerodynamic tail
    Metal rotor head
    Direct drive main shaft
    Heli is 440mm long
    455mm main blade diameter
    130mm tall
    GPS/GLONASS TOF sensor

    Perfect for someone that’s never going to do 3d. Just fun to fly around. 👍

      You can also practice upside down orientation at a slower pace.

    Great review and even a better point that this heli lets you fly with confidence like a simulator. Im glad to see reviews from people who will use this heli for the purpose it was made. Great explanation of the modes and demonstrations.

    The GPS/Acro mode saved me today...helicopter flew into the sun and I lost where it was...just flipped to GPS or Acro and started searching the sky where the helicopter went.

      GPS has faved me on this heli. Safe has saved me with my planes. I have had 3 incidents on my planes. One i lost where it was in the sky and flipped safe on. I finally found it in the sky but it saved me from it going down. Other two were flying through the sun. On the heli i was upside down. GPS saved it.

    According to Flywing, the head speed settings are 60/70/80....but the app is a little wonky cause it will reset the head speed back to 50 for the manual mode when viewing the settings...I've set the head speed to 60 for manual mode to make it a little more docile while trying to learn without all of the stability help.

    Nice machine. I have been enjoying my Yuxiang F01. I would like to add this one to the stable, but all the promo photos of it have some goofy looking gyro or whatever 1/2 down the tailboom. Yours does not have that. Is that optional? I really wanted the Fly Wing Jet Ranger but people were having a ton of problems with them.........For $800, you should have none :)

    • @LoveRC
      @LoveRC  2 роки тому +2

      No gyro. It has gps and an optical system on the bottom for self level.

    Hey the controls for this are normal heli right? For someone reason, manual was showing the elevator on left stick and rudder on right stick! Never seen that before!

    • @LoveRC
      @LoveRC  2 роки тому +2

      Set it to mode 2 for rudder/throttle on left and elevator/ailerons on right. You can set that on the transmitter.

    Interesting you mentioned the 230s, I have a 230sV2 and found if not fun under wind even in safe.
    I have one on the way, looking forward to less drama and more less than perfect days to fly, then go back to the other helis as well.
    I think there are around the same weight but the outrunner rotating mass and lower CG would make a difference in stability for sure!
    Any thoughts on the 450v2?

    • @LoveRC
      @LoveRC  2 роки тому +2

      The 230s does get blown around in the wind even on safe. The FW200 does not because the GPS is constantly correcting it.

      I did the calibration because it helped with gaining GPS. But very first flight I just flew it.

    I couldn't put the canopy back on with the 1500mah battery and ended breaking one of the canopy grommets. Tried contacting Flywing to get replacement grommets and even contacted HeliDirect, but replacement grommets are not available. I was looking at my 230s and realized the 230s grommets would work, but the hole in the middle seems a little small. Had to put a little drop of silicone oil on the grommet to help sliding on and off the canopy mounts . I guess I would have to drill additional holes in the canopy to make room for the 1500mah battery...nah...probably will live with 5-6 minute flying time which is enough for me for a manual learning session.

      I ordered some 1500 batteries from china that fit. It does have good flight time with the original batteries

    • @hirc2007
      @hirc2007 Рік тому

      @@LoveRC I also ordered the Flywing 1500mah battery, but I couldn't fit the canopy on and also prevent the battery from touching the main motor. Even if I moved the battery ever so close to the motor but not touching, the canopy was pretty tight getting on and the fear of the battery shifting into the motor just wasn't worth the risk. Maybe the difference is I'm using velcro tape versus just the double stick tape to attach the battery to the battery tray.

    • @LoveRC
      @LoveRC  2 роки тому +3

      HeliDirect but some of their parts are out of stock. I ordered a few things I felt could break from China. Took a few weeks. Xtra props, battery holder, and the breakable nuts on the bottom. Haven’t needed any of them yet except the battery holder.

    Yeah I bought one from banggood took it for flight my son and I took it in air for no reason it started to drift away very quickly then we lost it I contacted banggood I told then what happened they wanted to do anything I paid $450. Just had it only 3 days really sucks

    • @LoveRC
      @LoveRC  2 роки тому +1

      If it looses gps and starts to beep with green flash after you had gps lock, it basically has lost gps lock and you are flying it manually. I have had that happen. I usually get it under control and land it quickly.
