  • Yam-in-Sack is one way to make yams readily available for households and is expected to be a major way to combat food insecurity issues in the near future, however, not much has been discovered of its ability to be effectively utilized so that yield from the same sack is very high. This video demonstrates one of the many ways large quantities of yam tubers can be generated from the same sacks with the same efforts being put in.
You would be amazed how we got about 17kg (37 pounds) of yam tubers out of the same sack using an amazing novel method of planting. This is surely going to revolutionize yam in sack farming in the future both at the backyard and commercial level.
Let me know what you thing,
    Happy viewing.

I think your method of growing yams is awesome! That is amazing. You should try different species of yam. Dioscorea Rotunda and Dioscorea Cayenensis.. Dioscorea cayenensis is one of the best Yam species and you could get even higher productivity. That is the most vigerous yam! and it grows so fast. Also try Dioscorea Alata I think the Yam you have there is Disocorea Rotunda but not sure. I will follow your channel. I really like growing yams. I grow mine up Trees instead.
