Yes, Ethan, they made quarters back in 1962. I know because that was my allowance every week and I couldn’t wait to spend it! (LOL). Pretty cool old rustic house!
I just found your channel and subscribed. I love going into these abandoned places with you explorers. I’ve seen many videos of abandoned houses that have been totally trashed and disrespected but the places you are showing seem to be in relatively good condition. Thank you for being respectful of the houses you are recording.
It wouldn't take much to make that place pristine again to live in . Very cool for a nice retreat away from the daily grind. Big thumbs up on this one .
Hey pearl may, no ma'am it wouldn't, little fixin up here and there and it'll be good to go, if I were you I'd put in a cash offer and buy it and fix it up beautifully.
Hi Ethan, you had me laughing when you said, don’t even think they made quarters back then😂 beautiful property. I wonder why the government isn’t selling it. I assume the guy is in prison. You would think after a decade things would be settled. Stay safe Ethan
That is a pretty cool place , with a nice rustic cabin look and feel to it. I do love the high ceilings and beams. It still looks livable and worthy. It just needs a little life breathed back into it. The property was great also! 😎🤟✌️
Very interesting place. It's not my cup of tea. But it was someone's home, and that's what matters. Basement = creepy !!!! 😳 I did like the green around the tub. I loved the trees creating privacy and the nature sounds ❤ Thank you for sharing Ethan 😊 Great video ❤
@karencarson7232 sooo many people are devastated. Lot of people will have no jobs or place to live. I keep sending little bits of money, here and there.
One more thing. U really amaze me. You're so nice and respectful. I've noticed that you don't even use bad language. I saw another comment below and had to laugh. How old are you? Yes Ethan, they made quarters in 1962 and probably before. I guess I need to Google when the first quarter was made.
He is respectful and mature and that's why I enjoy his videos. I can't watch some of the other young explorers because of the immaturity and frat boy behavior.
This house would make a lovely home again for someone, i hate to see nice homes left empty indefinitely when there is usually a shortage of properties for people to buy or rent. It might have gad a criminal past but i think someone would live in it again. Fair bit of updating but wont hacpve to spend a fortune. Thanks for showing us around. First time here! Subbed. ❤
I always feel bad for houses left alone, to me they are saying make me pretty again. It wouldnt take too much to make this little house really nice again, including the basement.
You’re scaring yourself on this explore 👻 😊 thank you for showing us this beautiful house, it was beautiful outside as well. In my opinion basements are always boring 😑
The porch across the front that stretched across the living room & kitchen is just like how my grandparents' original house used to be (with exceptions to the rest of the floorplan; theirs had a 2nd level for the bedrms). The basement is creepy, but if finished properly so it wasn't damp, it could be used as a rec room and storage space. The main level looks like someone did a bad DIY job, but i could see it being nice and cozy if done properly because of the wood used. P.S. Don't scratch your bug bites! =P
People who go to prison do still own their property and if they don’t have people to take care of it the government will until they are out or the owner sells it, gives it to someone or rents it out. If they rent their stuff goes into storage. They still have their bank accounts (unless the crime involves money) and earn money in prison. Seriously how can you not know this, I mean I know it and I have never been arrested.
That was a wide leaf plant Ethan not rhubarb The inside has wood panelling all the way through like you described it as a log cabin very interesting. Thanks for the video.
7:25 The tin foil paper on the ceiling in the basement is actually insulation, that's how it used to be sold, they may still sell it like that, I'm not sure. I believe the tin foil-looking part was to reflect heat back down to the room.....this isn't a very warm basement, but wouldn't be so bad with those windows not boarded up.
I’m sorry Ethan that I watch your video now I apologize the reason I watching you now because I be watching different UA-camrs and both time I watch you it be way too late but I watching you now
Sad history. Only creepy in peoples imagination. Inanimate objects cannot be "creepy". Only in the movies you choose to watch. Take care Ethan. God bless. What children choose to believe fascinates me. LOL!!
Hey , the basement does seem creepy . If someone was able to buy this they could really make this house look great , especially the wood room extra. Thanks , see u in next one .
There is nothing creepy about the house. It is just a bit old, lacks some love. It is not and was never an expensive house but there is nothing what cannot be fixed. A humble home.

Ethan you’re right about the basement being creepy! Rest of the house is nice. Awesome video bro! 👍❤️🤘
Can't fight with the mosquitoes because they always win lol
Yes! They were bad in my area this year. I have the battle wounds to show.
Hi Ethan, you had me laughing when you said, don’t even think they made quarters back then😂 beautiful property. I wonder why the government isn’t selling it. I assume the guy is in prison. You would think after a decade things would be settled. Stay safe Ethan
😂
Why does the government seize property and then let it rot away????
Wow! You're back! Good to see you! Stay safe!
Nice little cabin. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!

Hi Ethan, thanks for sharing this cool little house. I watch you from Western North Carolina.
I watch from east Tennessee. Ya all flooded?
@waynesummey5051 Some places around me are very bad. We were fortunate. I'm originally from East Tennessee. Elizabethton, to be exact.
@karencarson7232 sooo many people are devastated. Lot of people will have no jobs or place to live. I keep sending little bits of money, here and there.

Great video and you look great😊
18:00 Dude the U.S. has produced quarters since 1796! U.S. change hasn't changed much in 2 centuries!
Very rustic! Not my taste but cool none the less. Yes, that was knotty pine. And they did make quarters in1962! lol. Thank you for sharing!🧡🏡🏘
This sounds like a awesome episode Ethan lets get into it ❤
Hi Ethan!❤
Nice house 🏠
The porch across the front that stretched across the living room & kitchen is just like how my grandparents' original house used to be (with exceptions to the rest of the floorplan; theirs had a 2nd level for the bedrms). Hi ethan❤❤❤
Hi Nathan lv Ann uk ❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
pine it is. A very expressive wood grain.
I lived in a house with the same wooden ceilings and beams, cathedral style we called it, built in the 70s. The smell of the wood was very strong

You just compleatly ignore the signs of ghost. 😂😂
Smelling a cigar and the door shutting would have been enough for me to go runnin.
Hello Ethan been sitting here watching the hurricane Milton updates .
Could be a nice house again love all thr pine wood
Be careful of wild animals
That was a wide leaf plant Ethan not rhubarb The inside has wood panelling all the way through like you described it as a log cabin very interesting. Thanks for the video.
Wow😜 they made quarters in the 60's and way before that!!
I think that is a grave site where you said there was rubarb and rocks.
What happened to your forehead? Just kidding. Neat House you found. Lots of wood. Probably went through a lot of wood cleaner. Thanks for the video
Never had a allowance had to work or not eat in the winter
This was just a little cool cabin. I guess I guess it’s very old no
Have a good day
Nice bathroom
Hi Ethan ✌️
I just wanted to say...Yes, they made quarters in 1962. Those quarters had lots of silver in them.
I’m sorry Ethan that I watch your video now I apologize the reason I watching you now because I be watching different UA-camrs and both time I watch you it be way too late but I watching you now
This house was too creepy for me. I had a hard time even watching the video.
You’re funny
The United States Mint began printing quarters in 1796...😂😊❤
With King Goerges, profile?
It was interesting. Not as luxurious as some others you went into.
At 8:41 it looks like a woman's face in the wood grain.
Who is cutting the grass? Somebody is keeping an eye on the place.
i talk about this in the video
Sad history. Only creepy in peoples imagination. Inanimate objects cannot be "creepy". Only in the movies you choose to watch. Take care Ethan. God bless. What children choose to believe fascinates me. LOL!!
Why do they just let it rot why not sell it and let someone use it
If it was an accident why the m charge. Makes no sense.
involuntary manslaughter I guess....
Hey , the basement does seem creepy . If someone was able to buy this they could really make this house look great , especially the wood room extra. Thanks , see u in next one .

You remind me of beni from the mummy 😅
