Just a little correction. There's no verse in Quran saying that insan is ashraf ul makhluqaat. He said it wrong. Contrarily, in surah Isra verse 70 Allah says about Adam "...... and preferred them over much of what We have created, with [definite] preference." Moreover, I don't know of any authentic hadith claiming that Adam is Ashraf ul Mkahlooqat.
