Even though I think he was the true genius of the group, I kept listening to them after we lost Ricky. Keith is just as great on guitar as he ever was on drums. I can even enjoy songs where Kate and Fred don't sing. But the B-52's without CINDY would be impossible. I love love love Cindy Wilson.
I saw them in Camden for the first time after being a fan for 17 years, and I was so happy to be there, I can't tell you. The audience really appreciated them-I would love to see them again.
You know, we all tend to think of the B52s as a silly, fun dance band. Which of course they've always been, but looking back now I notice how desparately heartbroken Cindy sounded at times. No one vocalizes how it feels to be so utterly smitten that you feel like you are losing your mind like Cindy did. True pain! I wonder where she channeled it from. When she wrote this, she seems too young and pretty to know the torment of unrequited love so intimately.
Ricky n'est plus, mais j'apprécie le jeu de Keith, c'est difficile de voir que les années passent et que tous nous vieillissons. The B52's aura marqué mes années et en 2022 j'écoute encore avec passion.
Saw them a week ago. Un f'n believable. Not one person was sitting down, danced all night. I've been a fun since record one, this is a band that understands music does not have to make sense, it just has to move you!
My fave B-52s song!

is there a better "sound" version of this video?
I love Kate.
Perhaps he likes to hear her sing "fish".
The fish girl looks better with a little weight added.
