Very enchanting. The light etherial dresses, the gorgeous runway and the delicate orchestrated music all came together here. I also appreciated the camera work and the use of slow mo on the turns to really let you take in all that detail. Loved it.
Ethereal, something out of a fairy tale. Love all of them! Can someone please tell me the name of the music being played? It matches the gowns, sets the mood and just fits with everything.
Sylla Atlas That's unfair. She's reworking the DNA of Dior, as is the job of a creative director. This is classic Dior style and it's absolutely beautiful I agree, but Maria Grazia is simply taking the house in a new direction, one that clients are eagerly catching onto.
Sylla Atlas So you're saying clients aren't buying pieces and investing? You haven't read the finance reports then, or been on Instagram I'm assuming 🤔
joseph éʌᴉɹd I didn’t say that, and you know that. Dior clients are asian and american people who have too much money, and who just hear “Dior” and then go buy like mad because it has an enormous history and legacy. But if you’d ask them about the name of the designer or even the date of the collection, you see that they don’t have a clue at all about te actual house of Dior. Chiuri’s job is horrible, as simple as that.
Sylla Atlas Wrong - they know exactly who she is, because you don't just go and swipe something off of the shelf, the sales associates convey the background information to you as part of the sales process. Not only that, but of course they know who she is and what she represents. The t-shirts, the references, yes people do know. And no she doesn't have a horrible job, she's the Creative Director of a multimillion dollar fashion corporation. She's simply taking the house in a new, fresh, relevant direction. Which is what her job is.
Such fairytale like pieces from Paolo; which is what he does best. I was so drawn into this collection that it felt like i stepped into this dazzling fantasy.

He's hot and knows how to dress women. Such beautiful gowns. A dream come true to walk down the aisle in any of these, even the pantsuit and black ones!!
Can't believe there's not a single piece that I didn't like, 😍😍😍

This is what Maria Grazia wants to do for Dior but can’t.
