The the actor who played this mistress did a good job towards the end… I was not expecting her to get on her knees and beg the FL to stay by her husband’s bedside during his recovery. In the beginning of the film she was arrogant and entitled. But in the end, you see how desperate she is. She thought she could accept being with him without his love, but in the end, he not only didn’t love her, he pitied her. Definitely thought she would have left him, instead of taking her own life.

I'm not 100% feel bout being 5 months pregnant and aborting baby either. But I guess also in a way female lead doesn't have anything to do with her cheating husband.
Yeah I'm not an abortion fan but to each their own but even though a movie to be that far along can you at least do just like 10 weeks or 12 and not show the very big belly but at same time wouldn't have the same emotional impact it had.
For the purpose of dramatic licence presumably….with the government trying to encourage married couples to increase their family size ( declining population ) it is far harder to obtain an abortion on a whim rather than a valid medical reason
