Hi Sameer.. For asymmetric synthesis you can use clayden and Morrison.. Content is sufficient for CSIR NET and GATE. Regarding physical chemistry, I have taken some units but a detailed course for csir net will be started soon.
I think your vicinal dihalide representation is wrong. Elimination will takes place when bromine and hydrogen atom are in anti periplanar position. please check the representation. thank you
