It's very great for you to be able to keep pike. They are one of my favorites to eat even though I haven't really eaten much. I will be going to Twin Valley soon. I also might try some private lakes sometime.
Sean, another awesome day, buddy! Congrats on exceeding 100! Off to a great start. Do you typically troll? I hear for walleye a lot of guys anchor and jig, but find it hard sometimes to find their pockets. Trolling as you paddle seems effective since you're obviously catching a lot. Glad you can keep the wounded one. I wish that the gov't issued us a a pike and a walleye tag that we could use anywhere for mishaps. It's much worse when you have to release one that is wounded in a lake you can't keep. You have to hope for the best in those lakes.
Thanks Dan. Trolling for pike is far more effective because you are covering off a lot more water. It does get a bit tiring, but it is worth it for the catches
damit lol, I think I guessed Aug something. I definitely want to hit up glenmore. I say thus every time you post a video from there congratulations on breaking 100
Rent a canoe from the boat launch area on the south side (same place in the video). I've used a lot of baits that have a ton of action like swim baits and the pike love them. I've never been able to catch any pike on spinners or spoons. The pike also like to hide in the deep weeds and wait for something to swim by.
@@AnglingSpiders me and my friend watch you video's so much and you inspired us to get out fish and my friend caught a pike on a five of diamonds and helped me make my UA-cam channel so I just want to say thank you. ua-cam.com/video/tk-ENcY7I_I/v-deo.html
Sorry, this just showed up in my feed. You just need to find where the fish are. Once you do you can catch them every time. Took me about two years to find them
Wow. 100 pike 😊
I want to learn fishing too.
Congratulations👍
Thank you so much, I am hoping to hit 200 later this year
Great time out there!
For sure
Looks like a nice place to fish.
It sure is!
Looks like some solid action! Nice to take some fish home for dinner too!
For sure, thanks

Thanks, Glenmore is much better early season. The weed growth in some areas gets pretty extensive in the summer and fall
I believe I have no chance to catch smth here from the land?))
You can catch from shore, but it is much harder
@@AnglingSpiders yesterday I catched 3 pikes from the shore
I missed on my guess by almost 6 weeks. You've had some good fishing this year.
Yes, it has been better so far this year for sure. Hopefully it stays that way
The markings on those pike are beautiful. Congrats on hitting 100 ! Would love to see how you cook em up.
Thanks, really looking forward to trying a catch and cook if I can get to a lake where I can keep them
do you have any tips for fishing the Glenmore Reservoir because I fish it too and I don,t really catch anything

It can be a tough place to fish from shore.

@@brandonsimms1242 ya I recently got a canoe for my birthday.
What time do you usually get out there? What’s the best bite time?
I usually go pretty early in the monring, just after sunrise. I find the pike are most active then or reallt late day (near sunset)
Do you think it’s possible to catch a pike from the shore? Is there a place to fish from the shore at glenmore reservoir?
Some people do fish from shore, but I find it is a lot harder to catch them without a boat.
How do you catch fish there? I tried for years and never caught a fish there before. I tried fishing everywhere on the reservoir.

SETRIKE 🐟🐟🐟🐟👍
Thanks for the comment
Sean you are smashing them , do the catch and release .
I do almost everywhere Nico, but every once and awhile it is nice to have a feed.
