The sound is awesome ❤ what a great music ❤ Very strong musician. The sound remember me a little, the theme of Castlvania 4 intro on SNES... this theme on C64 will be very good i think :)
This time I experimented with something different and I liked the result. I don't remember the music of the game you mentioned, but I'll listen to it. thank you so much!
Nice cover! And just a quick question; out of CheeseCutter and GoatTracker, which one would you recommend (and which one supports the 4th channel bug) since I’m looking for C64 trackers.
Thanks for your comment!!! Answering your questions first note that these two trackers do not support the SID master volume/4th channel bug, for that you must use an external tool like ThcMOD or Digi-Organizer. Now, between CheeseCutter and GoatTracker, I recommend GoatTracker, it's "easier" to create instruments and apply effects even though they both use hex values, it will be more familiar to you if you've used ProTracker, FastTracker or OpenMPT, and it has better documentation besides more tutorials on UA-cam.
@@et1999cc_chip Thanks for the info (and sorry I made you write so much!) I’m on a Mac so I’m having some difficulties getting them both to run (I’ve pressed both Mac and Windows download options but them both are .exe files) Thanks again!
@@gregssalamander. It's okay, I just replied to your comment ;) Now that you mention it, you could try this version that run on Mac (not sure if it will work with those with M1 processor) you can find it here csdb.dk/release/?id=219300 or this other csdb.dk/release/?id=136414
@@et1999cc_chip Thanks for the links since I’ve (technically) got the tracker now! I’m not used to having such a complicated download process but I’ll hopefully get there :)
Oh you're welcome! Even though it's open source, it's a shame they don't compile it directly for MacOS, only for Windows and Linux. I hope my information has been helpful ;)
This is one of those songs that stuck with me as a kid, and listening to you completely nail this with only three channels is really impressive.
Thank you very much for your nice comment, I'm glad to know that you liked my cover and that in some way it transported you back to your childhood.
Great!
thanks!!!

Hello Galway!
The master Galway!!!!
Not the first cover, this seems closer to the SNES version perhaps.
Exactly. I discovered yours on DeepSID, and you're right, my cover looks more like the SNES version.
