To answer your question though, copying other games and tweaking them slightly is a terrible way to run a business and it’s how you get the dragon train debacle.
So these are just "Easter Eggs" meant to be fun for that that find them and not to bother those that don't really care. With regard to Godzilla, just something for fun. It remains an interesting strategy for sure for them, and it did get them a buyout of 1 Billion Dollars!
