    Good to see you wrapping things up with corn. Wet holes are aggravating to say the least. Had a couple of wet spots to go around when planting corn (likely old 3 inch clay tile that's 90% plugged)...so goes life. Used to debate about planting cross rows around potential problem areas so they could be left for later during harvest allowing the majority of the field to be completed.

      Just makes everything in between planting and harvest that much more difficult when there are random end rows scattered through the field. My boss likes to do that.

    Awesome, T made it. As for the marker mistake, better to have a little extra gap than not enough. Atleast you won't be knocking down any corn. I have to admit I do love that rig. Those two look good together. I'm pretty sure you could fab a breather in your tank lids. Take care and I'll see you later.

    Re-cored the radiator in my 1600 diesel several years ago, one year later the stock fan decided to throw a blade and took out the new radiator. Now I run a six blade plastic unit.

    You can get a block test kit from napa to check if there are compression gasses in ths coolant.

    Ever think of minimizing the tillage so you can no till and get things planted quicker? Central WI we’ve got clay muck and gave up on full tillage in these wet springs, working well for us “here”.

    You need some bigger fields to farm with that planter,looks like you set yourself up for some in the future,what a pain in the rear stopping ,turning and planting in circles

    I'd suggest sending in an oil sample. If any coolant is getting in the oil that will detect it. Peace of mind...

    Any bubbling in the radiator? Especially under load?

  • @LynnKorte-ve4qf
    @LynnKorte-ve4qf 17 днів тому +1

    You might have to cook out that radiator,sounds like you might have some rods loading up and restricting coolant flow

    • @Oliver66FarmBoy

      Radiator core is only 3 years old. Plugged tubes cause over heating not failure to come up to temperature.

    What was the maturity of the last corn you planted ?

  • @christiananna3025
    @christiananna3025 17 днів тому +1

    Did you top the 1950-T off with coolant before it came out the overflow because if you put a little bit too much coolant in the radiator it will come out the overflow tube once it heats up. Mine likes to be a finger length away from the top of the filler neck anything above that it will come out the overflow.

      If not that probably just the thermostat or radiator cap but if you have play in the water pump shaft or it’s leaking could be that too

    The tanks on my 6180 have a float with a rod running down to the T coming into the tanks. I don't know where to find them. I need to replace one it's not working right. If you do find some let us know on here.

    Your comment about d day,we would of lost that war if Russia wasn't taking out the German main army loosing millions. So don't forget that you all on what's happening today in Ukraine

    • @Oliver66FarmBoy
      @Oliver66FarmBoy  17 днів тому +10

      Again, I think you need to check your facts. Up to the point before D-Day the only significant victory Russia had against Germany was at Stalingrad. Russia was on its knees and Stalin was begging for a second front in Europe because the Italian front wasn’t taking off enough pressure. Ever since the fall of the Tzar and the rise of communism in Russia they have been terrible fighters. Their only tactic has been to throw their troops at the front like cannon fodder because they always had more to make up for their losses. Their losses in both men and equipment against Germany were astronomical because they were poorly equipped and under trained to fight a numerically inferior force and it showed. So to correct you’re statement, Russia would have fell had the allies not successfully landed in France on D-Day.
