I'm a Naruto fan and I'm taking an Audio Video Tech and Film class where I need to get a good grip on After Effects, but due to some circumstances my (wonderful) teacher isn't in the place to teach it. This video helped me understand some things you weren't even shooting for, so I'm more grateful than you'll get the chance to realize!

also something else to think about doing is if you are moving the rasengan, consider alt clicking the scale and put in wiggle(10, 2.25). it helps make it look natural (in my opinion) and you can always tweak it to make it look right.
Cool video.. inspires me to play with particle world some more. One little tip is play around with the alpha matte/alpha inverted matte.. a lot of times you can use it to mask in or out a section without manually masking/rotoscoping.. also the auto rotoscope tool in CC is pretty fantastic. Anyway.. keep up the great work man.

***** no I found the stock footage on UA-cam honestly, but I try the particle thing and it wasn't working plus it doesn't really look like a rasengan that why. I was wondering how you got the particles to kinda glow off the ball
Ah, that was stock footage of a swirl, if you want I can try to make a tutorial on making the swirling particle or I can send you the stock footage if it helps

+Carlos SDR Onoptions One of tabs in the particle should have options to enable gridlines and such, look there and you may have a fix for your problem

hey ! do you know a fx app for android?
this is for PC and Mac.. hitfilm and others are cheaper than After Effects used here.. but I have never seen an android app.. don't believe most phones could handle this kind of rendering.. even good PCs struggle with many effects.

when you use the pen tool how did the rasengan suddenly appear?
you change the mask from subtract to add under the mask properties.. whenever you mask something you have to decide if you're masking something in or out.. add or subtract. He masked IN his fingers so add.
The thing is...
You are usually supposed to do the rasengan with your right hand (only if its rasen rengan).
