Also the reason why Arya said Sansa is thinking of the thought of ruling os because. One of her training she did at Bravoos is the ability to read people and know when they are lying.
I look back on these two episodes as the ones where things really began to go downhill. Jaime and Bronn surviving the dragon attack, Tyrion's needless and hair-brained plan to capture a wight, Gendry's Marathon run, Dany turning up on her Dragon so quickly, Jon climbing out of a freezing lake, Benjen choosing to die when he could have survived...
The area beyond the wall is shrinking due to the constant movement of the knight king and army. I think Benjin was bound to that area due to the magic from the children of the forest. So even if he did go with John, he would have to stay on the other side of the wall where the knight king is getting closer so his fate is sealed, really regardless to me. I am glad he showed up to help John escape.
I also think Ben-Jen realized that maybe the horse could carry 2 but at a slower pace and Jon with his clothes all wet in the freezing temps had to get back quickly.
I agree that’s what Benjen believes, but I actually think once Bran crossed the wall after being touched he can go past the wall. They don’t realize it though.

Randyll Tarly's politics don't make much sense. If he is such a conservative, hard as steel about the realm, its traditions, its laws, he should not be OK with Cersei seizing the throne without having any claim to it.

Haha Zombie Fish is a movie that needs to be made! I agree about the lazy writing... I got major "Titanic floating door" flashbacks when Benjen said "There's no time" for him to literally hop up on a horse! There's always going to be plot holes (like how does a guy in the very first scene in the very first show see WW's then desert, and get caught in Winterfell without having to show up at the wall first?) But yeah it did get worse as they had to cut corners while running out of time to move the plot forward. One - maybe two more seasons would have helped but even with all the rushed and lackluster writing, it's still probably the best show I've ever seen in my lifetime.
Danerys contradicted herself when she said she wasn’t there to murder and then burned a man and his son alive because he wouldn’t bend the knee. She became Cersei and didn’t even know it or probably even worse. The bullshit was real.
Gendry ran back to the wall, uphill through snow, narrated a letter explaining the situation, sent the raven, then Danaerys read and contemplated the letter, and managed to fly dragons beyond the wall, a round trip of roughly 4,000 miles according to the internet... all in the span of about 24-36 hours.
when you think about it, its really stupid that the night king didn't decide to kill the dragon that danaerys was sitting on, especially considering it wasn't moving
I will say one of the worst interactions is him telling Jon he didn’t look like Ned. The background is Arya and Jon are the only kids that look like starks.
49:09 In my GoT head canon, Arya and Sansa actually came up with this scene during a sleepover when Arya tells Sansa about her stint in the theater “like for reals sis I was kind of a big deal in Brav.” Sansa makes Arya prove her acting chops by helping her prank Little Finger because “ew, he tried to kiss me in the G-dub.” They stay up all night trying to figure out how Jon and Bran turned into such big dorks.

The only time I’ve ever thought about signing up for Patron is to watch you two react to GOT. I’ve seen every vid on TY but y’all are so engaged I want to see the entire thing!
@TheOctobersReact Also just wanted to say that during the show airing live this episode was spoiled for many fans. Not only was it a super painful episode someone hacked HBO and posted clips of the Night King killing Viserion (Dany’s dragon) all over UA-cam, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. It totally spoiled the episode for me. However I didn’t know who would make it out alive so that was still an exciting episode.
At the end of the opening credits I hear Mr. October saying "ching-a-ling, ching-a-ling" even when he doesn't say it. Baha. ps: Mrs. Octobers hair is so nice! Big fan!
my theory for this episode to make more sense is: the night king is also a greenseer (like bran or jojen, he has these kind of visions) & knew that a dragon would be there and stayed to get him (because he might come in handy in the future). otherwise it wouldn't really have made sense for him to stop his entire army & wait to get to a handful of people.
‘You need to take your enemies side to anticipate their actions’ also if you had say a master spy on your side who for instance should probably have known a large Lannister army had mobilised and marched on Highgarden, that information probably would have helped!
I can't believe you're already at the end of season seven!!! Re: Dany & Jeorah. In the books there is a chapter in book two when Dany is on her first ship and Jeorah actually kisses her. I cannot recall the exact details, but feel that she rejected him after that moment. I was glad they did not have this in the television adaptation because it did not sit right with me. However, I believe this was depicted in the series in the scene at Qarth when he reaches for her shoulder and she pulls away and tells him, "You are (being) too familiar." So, I don't think she is in love with him "that way." But, she definitely appreciates his support and guidance.
So here’s how dumb the stuff with Randyll Tarly is. He literally fought for Daenerys father and Tywin was the one that betrayed them. Also Daenerys was literally born on dragonstone. There is no loyalty for them to the lannisters.
To stick up for Daenerys here, "Bend the knee or Die" is basically what all of her ancestors did & it is the saying Aegon used to conquer Westeros. She does get a slight side eye for it, but it's what Targaryens have always done to make sure it sticks lmao. Also, if you rewatch, you can kinda see that it is Jons fault that Daenerys lost a dragon xD They could have all escaped. The ice dragon is a good reason why the alternate name for Game of Thrones is "A song of Ice and Fire" :DDD
@33:10 "So what are they going to do? Just hop out the bushes and grab one?" My friend said something just like this to me the day after this episode aired. It was so stupid what they were doing and you had one of the smartest characters in the show recommending this course of action because the writing was down the tubes at this point.
Tyrion should have told Jaime that Tywin was sleeping with Shae, and that he caught them both red handed. It's possible that Shae's body was removed to save Tywin's reputation, and maybe Jaime and Cersei never found that out.
@@wildtime845 Agreed, but you would think if Jaime realized, he wouldn't be as upset. I mean surely after what he had done to Tysha, to be sleeping with whores himself, would make Jaime think differently about his father, his father's death, and Tyrion's hand in it.
@@billross7245 I think he definitely would. If he wouldn't then he is an unrealistic character. Someone secretly fucking your girl drives men mad, and every man that loves a woman understands that. Crimes of passion are punished less because we understand there are actions that can be done that are maddening. Like fucking someone else, especially your partner's friends of family. Jaime knows how Tywin treated Tyrion about whores, and to not only be a whore monger himself, but to be doing it with Tyrion's own personal whore, is just sick and horrible, and I think Jaime would totally think it justified. That's why we never got any proof he knew, because then his continued anger at Tyrion would seem dumb.
Because this is completely different in the book's. The thing about Tysha is that she wasn't some whore and genuinely loved Tyrion. In the book's Tyrion wants vengeance on both Jamie and Cersei.
Fun fact, Drogon and the others run like that on their hands because they’re actually Wyverns. Wyverns have 2 legs and 2 wings like they do on GoT. Dragons, real Dragons have 4 legs and the wings
So you prescribe to the valyrians crossbred wyverns with fire worms theory? LmL (David lightbringer) has some of the best asoiaf theory/symbolism stuff on youtube.

Always thought would have been better for Night King to walk up to hole in ice, do his hand arm raise like in Hardhome. Dragon rises up from and with ice and water falling from its body, blasts some blue flame with a roar, then turns blue eyes to camera. (In Hardhome Night King just raises his arms, the chain thing seem out of place to me)
I always loed the idea of Viserion making his way out the frozen like by himself, flying... it would have been really interesting to see that, but how the show portrayed worked as well, people usually think it does not make sense for the white wakers to get in the water, however, it's not crazy to think the night king sent some of them to only put the chains with no care of losing those soldiers, he has thousands more, also, the chains can come from the giants.... it makes sense to me at least.

So north of the wall is filmed in Iceland which (second hand) is a very cool place to visit.
The plot armor is strong this season
At the end of the opening credits I hear Mr. October saying "ching-a-ling, ching-a-ling" even when he doesn't say it. Baha. ps: Mrs. Octobers hair is so nice! Big fan!
why do i feel like he has no idea about what is going on but she has looked up every piece of information. lol.
Great hair Mrs O!
my theory for this episode to make more sense is:
the night king is also a greenseer (like bran or jojen, he has these kind of visions) & knew that a dragon would be there and stayed to get him (because he might come in handy in the future). otherwise it wouldn't really have made sense for him to stop his entire army & wait to get to a handful of people.
I think the best offsetting combination of advisors for Daenerys would have been Tyrion, Missandei and Jorah.
What difference does it make? She wouldn't listen to any of them.
‘You need to take your enemies side to anticipate their actions’ also if you had say a master spy on your side who for instance should probably have known a large Lannister army had mobilised and marched on Highgarden, that information probably would have helped!
Cousins? Auntie/Nephew.
What's worse then fucking your brother? Fucking your brothers kid.
Show writers are 💩 at remembering that type of stuff
To stick up for Daenerys here, "Bend the knee or Die" is basically what all of her ancestors did & it is the saying Aegon used to conquer Westeros. She does get a slight side eye for it, but it's what Targaryens have always done to make sure it sticks lmao.
Also, if you rewatch, you can kinda see that it is Jons fault that Daenerys lost a dragon xD They could have all escaped.
The ice dragon is a good reason why the alternate name for Game of Thrones is "A song of Ice and Fire" :DDD
You guy's are soo cute! ❤
"The government...!" is craaaaaaaaaaaazzzzzzyyy I'm lightheaded
The Night King actor does the real stunts and is an actual stunt double
End of episode 5 is a call back to The Magnificent Seven movie . Nostalgia for GRRM's generation.
@33:10 "So what are they going to do? Just hop out the bushes and grab one?"
My friend said something just like this to me the day after this episode aired. It was so stupid what they were doing and you had one of the smartest characters in the show recommending this course of action because the writing was down the tubes at this point.
1:10:38 absolute god level reference by ms October 😂😂
I’m just here to watch the reaction. I’m not here to tell them whether or not they should like or dislike the rest of the show.
❤❤❤Octobers!
Tyrion should have told Jaime that Tywin was sleeping with Shae, and that he caught them both red handed. It's possible that Shae's body was removed to save Tywin's reputation, and maybe Jaime and Cersei never found that out.
Doesn’t seem likely when they have so many eyes all over Westeros
@@wildtime845 Agreed, but you would think if Jaime realized, he wouldn't be as upset. I mean surely after what he had done to Tysha, to be sleeping with whores himself, would make Jaime think differently about his father, his father's death, and Tyrion's hand in it.
I don't think Jaime would see it as any kind of justification for patricide.
Real dragons...
@@ashscott6068 You know what I mean.
The word police over here 🚨
@@Bled420you’re literally being “mythical creature police” babe 🤭
So you prescribe to the valyrians crossbred wyverns with fire worms theory? LmL (David lightbringer) has some of the best asoiaf theory/symbolism stuff on youtube.
You are so wrong. Dragons come in differwnt anatomies. Havent you seen the chinese dragon? Or shenron? How to train your dragon?
Mr October is wearing some hoochie daddy short today 😂😂😂
I can't see if anyone else has mentioned it but back when ep 5 aired the very next day a very poor pirated copy of ep 6 was released to the public and of course we watched it, too hard to resist, but in hindsight I wish we hadn't lol
yes, arya would've been fighting more than sansa if she had been in her position. and I'm pretty sure she would've gotten herself killed that way. fighting and surviving aren't always the same thing. and both are equally valid options to choose.
Did they used owls to bring those giant chains to drag Viserion out of the water. I still don't understand where they get the chains xD
I'm very excited to see how you both view season 8. Alot of peoples dont like it. I think it all ends as it should have. It has the 2 best episodes of the run The Longest Night and The Bells. It is what is it is. You love it or hate it. Just waiting for your reaction.
Love the hair, Mrs. October.
Someone's pulling weight for Hair points Lolll
Arya wants to say something to Sansa with the dagger.... Prodigious Mr October
Here we go. We're about to get deeep.
I remember first time watching, when the army of the dead finally started closing in on the group, I was on the edge of my seat, but I wasn't cracking jokes about Jake Paul and Super Mario.
Gendry is a true Baratheon. Like his father, he prefers a battle axe. 💚
Okay, war hammer. But still.... 😂
Bahaha. You dropped my comment in the video nice. That earns a subscription. As long as we asking questions and correcting names.. Whats with Mrs. pronunciation of Gendry? The G is a hard G. Lol.
Reminds me of Shay-Shay's advice to the WNBA and Caitlin when he proclaimed: "Let her cook!" LOL Evident thru time the Children of the Forest created the Walkers to kill mankind in preservation. (Easy to know now). And like many doomsday weapons they became uncontrollable in their desire to kill 'the enemy,' or distinguish the difference between ally and foe, imo...natch. Stargate's Replicators.
One last Observation: Is it 'Bite Me', or hocus-pocus to create a ghoul in this series?
it makes me mad when they say that dany wasn’t born in westeros because she literally was!! dragonstone is in westeros. barely a day journey from there to kings landing 😂
A song of Ice and Fire, a song of Stark and Targaryen...Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen
Going to shill for their patreon real quick 😊 They just posted GoT series finale. Picture in picture reactions. No need for your own copy, no need to awkwardly have your phone playing a separate video. 10 bucks.
31:25 😂😂😂😂
Did you hear when Cersei said she is pregnant!?
Always thought would have been better for Night King to walk up to hole in ice, do his hand arm raise like in Hardhome. Dragon rises up from and with ice and water falling from its body, blasts some blue flame with a roar, then turns blue eyes to camera. (In Hardhome Night King just raises his arms, the chain thing seem out of place to me)
I don't know about that. If the zombies can't go in water, would the zombie dragon be able to get out of the water?
I always loed the idea of Viserion making his way out the frozen like by himself, flying... it would have been really interesting to see that, but how the show portrayed worked as well, people usually think it does not make sense for the white wakers to get in the water, however, it's not crazy to think the night king sent some of them to only put the chains with no care of losing those soldiers, he has thousands more, also, the chains can come from the giants.... it makes sense to me at least.
I think I'm just now realizing sansa sent B of earth away because little finger suggested using her against arya
Hot take, the song of ice and fire for me is Jon. His mom is ice, his dad is fire.
