Thanks for posting this. I've been freaking out about this exact situation today. I screwed up trying to remove it early this morning in a panic cause I hate blood feeding bugs with a passion. However I think it was attached for about 24 hours or but I'm not exactly sure. No itching but it was very painful this morning.
Thank you I pulled a tick out this morning only for its head to get in my scalp thank you😊it was not big it was still small didn’t get to much blood I feel so much better knowing this but I removed it 24 hours it bit me I just got it out today

Ok good. I ripped the tick apart while removing from my cat. I thought it would still infect it tho
It's always better if you can get the whole thing off if you are able but avoid causing damage/injury to the area is better.
When removing a tick, should you take antibiotics afterwards for precaution?

I was bitten by a tick and the head of it was left in my leg just like u said I left it alone now I’m left with a bump with tuff flesh …. It’s tender as hell

@@ONIThaPOETusually your body will simply push the foreign object out on its own, but sometimes instead the body will actually try to encapsulate it. That might have been what happened, his body may have also just overreacted
One is in my nieces head thanks to my father's 8 little ankle biters. Everything else is gone except for the head 🤦🏼♀️

What if it made big pop sound and there's no "guts" or whatever? Doe the mean the contents are in the skin?
Maybe, that’s what happened with my cat, and it left the parts there

@@Tamara-xf3zw dogs were fine. Make sure you take out the whole tick. Also might wanna get some blood testing done after two weeks or so but I’m not 100% sure .but my dogs were fine
