I completely understand him being upset about the pen situation. Those are historic documents that he was signing and will be looked at for decades to come. When I saw that I totally understood his frustration & also that some would make a meal of it - the desk had been set up the wrong way round. Most I’m sure empathised with him, he had a lot to contend with at a very emotional time.

I get The King's issue with the pen. His mother just died, and he didn't have the time to grieve. The King and the RF did what they always do so well. They remained calm and carried on. Markle's lies are about to come crashing around her ears. The First Lady of Nigeria asked publicly why was Markle in Africa. It suggested that perhaps she is not buying the 43% Nigerian. That said, I can't believe that The King would have put anything in writing which he wouldn't want repeated or showing up in People Magazine.

I completely understand him being upset about the pen situation. Those are historic documents that he was signing and will be looked at for decades to come. Someone should have ensured that the pen was in working order and that there were backup pens at the ready. I’m shocked that people didn’t understand his frustration.
When I saw that I totally understood his frustration & also that some would make a meal of it - the desk had been set up the wrong way round. Some of those present were to sign the document after the King & it was set up for that part of the ceremony instead of the other way round. Personally, I think while he is a good constitutional monarch, like his mother, he is also a father who perhaps sees his youngest child as something of a prodigal son. Just my thoughts 🕊

People overlook that at the time of the ‘leaky pen’ incident, the King was under a lot of pressure. He was grieving the loss of his beloved mother just a couple of days prior, he was having to formalise his ascension to the throne, he had his youngest son throwing tantrums via the Press regarding his wearing of a military uniform for the funeral, ignoring the fact that under the law of the land, only serving military personnel and those with honorary military ranks, can wear a military uniform in public. The leaky pen momentarily resulted in the King’s ‘stiff upper lip’ crumbling and his frustration at everything bled out. Most I’m sure empathised with him, he had a lot to contend with at a very emotional time.

Our King has no power over our democratically elected Parliament, as he reigns but does not rule. Parliament rules and the Monarch can't interfere in any way with its democratic workings. He has no authority to to ask, order or advise it, as there is a strict separation of powers.
Now we have an election coming up. The titles will be back on the list. We have more important things to worry about
