    Always amazed by people who take such good care of their things. It’s lovely to see your collection of things that you love and that are so well cared for. Very relaxing video :)

      She spent £50000 on it. She doesn't take care of them, she pays people to take care of them.

    Definitely do a gown video! I would also fold your fancy sweaters/ jumpers. Keeping them on the hangers slightly stretches the fabric, especially delicates like cashmere.❤

      Actually, when I did a research paper on it for my Fashion Design degree, I found out that faux fur, clogs the eco system, in the ocean, choking fish, & other aquatic life. Real fur is sustainable, & vintage furs, from antique stores are going to be a hot item this Fall.

    It’s an absolute dream! So happy for you. Love that you have bits that I can relate to, my go to bags are BIBA and my favourite perfume ever is penhaligons Luna (try it!) I’m still saving for a designer designer bag! Love that you are so passionate about your things high street or designer. Hope you have a lovely Christmas and sending extra love knowing it will be a tough one for you too xxx

    Just found your channel. Beautiful dressing room. Are you concerned with the sun damaging your bags in the window? I’m expanding my purse and shoe storage to a room that gets a lot of natural light and I coming up with solutions that will protect my bags and shoes from the sun.

    • @christinagracewhite
      @christinagracewhite  Рік тому

      Hey, thank you. I’m not concerned as the window is north east facing so only get a little morning sun. I do keep an eye on it but I’ve had my dressing room in this room for many years now and not had any issues before.

    Considering that your style is very classic, elegant and chic, I think you would look astonishing in a fur coat! It got cold in the UK, and real fur will keep you warm much better than faux fur. It serves both aesthetically and practically. Have you thought about it?

      I own a vintage Coyote fur. I'm torn though about purchasing fur as an animal lover, I don't have an issue with buying vintage, I just wouldn't buy a new one.

    • @tede8889
      @tede8889 Рік тому

      @@christinagracewhite Yes, vintage/pre-owned furs are probably the best option. This way we give a second life to furs that might otherwise go to waste, and that would be a shame, because many of them are in really good condition.
      As for buying new, it's actually complicated. Because there are actually constant efforts to improve the living conditions of farmed animals. For example, since around 2017 there has been a WelFur certificate, developed with specialists, implemented throughout Europe, which ensures good treatment of animals. Moreover, the populations of many fur-bearing animals need to be controlled by humans anyway, as their predatory habits sometimes cause damage (coyotes because of predation of livestock, with sheep and fowl being at the greatest risk; foxes because of killing native wildlife, threatening livestock including poultry, lambs and goat kids; minks because of their predation on eggs and chicks at seabird colonies, hunting water birds, killing domestic poultry, fish stocks and the water vole). So, being an animal lover is not necessarily in conflict with purchasing fur, as some organizations and activists like PETA try to portray it.

    The layout would personally make me quite claustrophobic and furniture sets are a no no for me.
    But if you love it, it’s all that counts
